I've not been to Starkville, but this sounds like something an Ole Miss fan would do.

Poor guy didn’t know what team he liked. I can’t really describe how drunk he was & it was pretty early in the day.

I am gonna laugh at the Kentucky fans when they lose this game. Do your self a favor and stay with a underdog mentality....it won't hurt so bad when it all falls apart over the next few games. Stoops is good, but not that good.

Yes. Kentucky will not score over 10 points on Saturday. After the beatdown, KY fans will state that they never really cared about football since they're a basketball school. Excuse me, they WERE a basketball school.

Yes, the confidence of UK fans on the SEC Rant always directly affects the outcome of games.

Then most folks there have not been to DW. Very tough place to play when their revved up.

Home game for state, that is a big vegas factor.
If it opened at State -2, that means Vegas would put it around Kentucky -1 on a neutral field, and around Kentucky -4 at home. At the most. Vegas thinks it's a pretty even match up tbh.

Yeah if he’s going into this weekend thinking Kentucky is gonna come into Davis Wade and just skullfrick us into submission, he’s gonna have a rough weekend. Only Alabama does that.

I get that this is a trash talk thread, but let's be real here... Will Rogers has the most passing yards of any QB in the SEC right now. This is going to be a better team than last year. They have an explosive offense and are better than their record would show. They are a hit and miss team that will most likely show up against their annual eastern rival and their fans are going to be juiced because they're confident after demolishing vanderbilt and still view Kentucky in the basement.
That being said... Kentucky will still control both lines of scrimmage and limit explosive plays. I don't think this will be much separation on this game, but get the feeling Kentucky will look in control as long as they don't let up in the 2nd half. The biggest risk we have is getting ahead and then trying to coast through the 4th. Unless we stay aggressive on offense through all 4, I think MSU has a solid chance of coming out on top.

If by "most folks," you mean yourself and a couple of other unrealistic Wildcats, you may be right.
Most folks who know anything about this silly game we love knows that this game is going to be a slugfest.

I am typically negative on the team up to game day. It's kind of a ritual that seems to be working out well for us

2 Mississippi State
3 Kentucky
Humm, where have I seen that score before?

Not really. But they do have a ball-control offense. I think they are tops in time of possession. I expect MSU to move the ball pretty freely between the 20s. The difference in the game will be home many times the Cats can hold them to FGs. This is the typical Achilles heel of the Air Raid; it's good for lots of meaningless yards, but has trouble in the red zone when the field shrinks. That said, the Cats can't be careless with possesions. IF we don't score, we'll need to at least flip the field each time. Making them run a lot of plays and keeping them in front of our D is crucial. This happens to be our defenses mode of operation, anyway. THeir O vs our D is going to look a lot like the Mizzou game, except they don't have a Tyler Badie.
If the Cats have enough success on the ground to keep them honest and open up the play-action game, they should win. I'm not naive enough to think the Cats will waltz in there and push the dogs around... plus those damn cowbells.
So the key match-up to me is our ground game vs. their run D. Kinda strength on strength, but I think the Cats will have just enough edge to get the W. Levis getting a few good runs may the wildcard in that match-up.
