- This will be the sixth meeting between Arkansas and Mississippi Valley State all taking place in Fayetteville and first since 2011-12. The Razorbacks own a 5-0 advantage in the series.

- The Razorbacks have won 45 straight home openers, including a 27-0 record in openers inside Bud Walton Arena. Overall, the Razorbacks have won 46 of the last 49 seasons openers.

- Desi Sills was named preseason All-SEC and the Razorbacks were picked to finish sixth.

- Arkansas has a school-record 11 new scholarship players this season.

-Arkansas’ has an NCAA-high of 12 total newcomers (four graduate seniors, three sit-out transfers and five freshmen).

-Graduate senior Vance Jackson Jr., is only 10 points shy of 1,000 for his career while fellow graduate senior Jalen Tate is only 50 points shy of 1,000.

- Arkansas enters 2020-21 owning the nation’s third-best streak for consecutive games making a 3-pointer with 1,043. UNLV which has made a trey in every game since the rule was established has a streak of 1,102 and Duke is second at 1,090. Western Kentucky trails Arkansas at 1,040.

- Arkansas, seeded 11th, cruised to an 86-73 victory over 14-seed Vanderbilt in the first round of the SEC Tournament on March 11.

-Following the game, it was announced that only staff and family members would be able to attend the second round games due to concerns associated with the Corona Virus (COVID-19). However, the next morning (Mar. 12), the
NCAA and SEC announced that all tournament games were suspended. Later, it was announced by the NCAA that all winter and spring championships were canceled.

- Arkansas made 12 3-pointers, the most by a Razorback team in an SEC Tournament game.

- Mason Jones became the first Razorback to have at least 22 points, six rebounds and six assists in an SEC Tournament game.

- Arkansas is 27-27 all-time in the SEC Tournament, including 5-1 versus Vandy

- Eric Musselman was 1 of 10 NCAA Division I coaches in their first year at a program to win at least 20 games this season. He was the only one from a power conference to do so.

- Coach Muss has won at least 20 games in each of his five years as a collegiate head coach.

- The Razorbacks held opponents to shooting 29 percent or worse from 3-point range 20 times. In SEC play, Arkansas
held Texas A&M to 28.6% (1/4), LSU to 26.7% (1/8), Ole Miss to 23.1%, Vandy to 25%, Alabama to 25.8%, Auburn to
25.8%, Missouri to 18.3% (2/8). Missouri to 19.0% (2/22), Tennessee to 23.5% (2/26) and Vandy to 25% (3/11).
^ Arkansas’ 27.2% 3-point defense Led the NCAA / was 1st in the SEC

- Arkansas only committed 11.5 turnovers/gm for the season and just 10.1 in SEC play both were the fewest in SEC while forcing a league-best 16.0 turnovers/gm.
+ Overall, Arkansas committed single-digit turnovers 10 times: 8 vs South Dakota, 8 vs Tulsa, 9 versus Texas A&M, 7 at LSU, 7 vs Vandy, 7 at Mississippi State, 8 vs Mizzou, 7 vs Tennessee, 6 at Georgia and 5 vs LSU.

- Arkansas had an SEC-best 253 steals for the season and 128 in SEC games trailing South Carolina for the lead.

- Arkansas has double-digit steals eight times this year 14 vs Rice, 13 vs Texas Southern, 11 vs North Texas, 11 vs Montana, 15 at Georgia Tech, 12 vs Tulsa, 11 at Alabama and 14 vs Auburn.

- The Razorbacks forced at least 15 turnovers 20 times this season, including a season-high 27 in the season opener versus Rice. TCU had 19. Auburn had 18 turnovers; Texas A&M (2x), Alabama and Missouri had 17 turnovers; Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, South Carolina and Miss State (2/15) each had 16 and Florida into 15.
^ The 16.0 turnovers forced Ranked 28th in the NCAA / 1st in the SEC

- Prior to having 16 turnovers in the finale at A&M, Arkansas only committed 26 turnovers in four games (8 vs Mizzou, 7 vs Tennessee, 6 at Georgia and 5 vs LSU). The Hogs committed just 10 turnovers at Alabama and versus Auburn. Overall, the Hogs committed 10 or less turnovers 15 times this season.
^ The 11.5 turnovers committed ranked 47th-fewest in the NCAA / 1st in the SEC
^ The 369 turnovers committed ranked 59th-fewest in the NCAA / 1st in the SEC
