Question, if Freeze has similar results in Oxford after 4 years, will he be on the hot seat?

Probably not with the administration. The fanbase would grow tired of it though I believe

I thought that was this year. Next year, will be the next and so on. So it's 6 years now, to accomplish a coaches goals?

Mullen is the most successful coach State has had in the last 70 years after 4 seasons- do you really think he even has a chance at being fired? He is not going anywhere for awhile

We only have 10 seniors on this year's team- we have a good young team that is solid...as the other poster said- 2014 is the year when the schedule flips back in our favor with the Auburn's and UPig's at home

Opps...that was his original.

He is at about 2.65.

What is the Ole Miss fanbase expectation? If it is much more, it's pretty delusional.

When you are rebuilding with what Croom left you, yep, it takes time. I am pretty damn happy sans losing the Egg Bowl last year with Mullen's first four years in Starkville. The goal here is to build a consistent program.

As an outsider, his product appears to have lessened every year.

Maintain 7-9 wins without using cupcakes as a crutch

Troy was the second best team in Alabama last year. Maybe they should be Auburn's rival, since you aren't really in Alabama's class.

If we kept going to the same level bowl game with no improvement every year the fan base would be aggravated.

That is dumb to say. It's not like they play in Starkville every year.

Mullen is averaging 8 wins per season the last 3 years- and has gone 4-4 in the SEC twice.

That's gets you a contract extention at State- not fired

Outsiders don't know shite about the program.

Only Alabama and LSU are currently doing this in the West. A lot of programs going to be firing a ton of coaches in the future.

Can't tell you how many times i've seen fans justify some of y'alls losses on Mullen not having the type of players he wants in his system yet.

This is true. His win/loss record is all smoke and mirrors.

It's pretty simple, most of Mullen's losses have come to teams that were just flat out better than State.
