No way in hell Bobby P goes to Starkville.

Especially now that WKU is FBS. He could go to just as good of a bowl as MSU at this point with the right schedule.
State only pays 4-5 times more than W. Kentucky

So Mullen makes 3.4M?

probable loss at home to your in-state rival.
I imagine we will be favored in this game.

Seems like a gamble since there is no guarantee 2014 is any better,
2014 will be Mullen's best team to date at State.

other programs might be going after Petrino too.
If Mullen doesn't work out, I would be unhappy if we didn't hire Petrino.

Pretty damn close to it, Mullen will be in the 3 million range this year.

what makes you think that?

It's at home, and we will have right around the same record coming into that game.

Believe what you want, for those that follow the program have pointed to 2014 as being when you will really know what Mullen's ceiling will be at State.

almost- he made about 3.1 this season after bowl bonuses

I thought that was this year. Next year, will be the next and so on. So it's 6 years now, to accomplish a coaches goals?

He's still laying foundation

But his salary is, what like 2.5?

When you are rebuilding with what Croom left you, yep, it takes time. I am pretty damn happy sans losing the Egg Bowl last year with Mullen's first four years in Starkville. The goal here is to build a consistent program.

What do you think realistic goals are for a coach at Mississippi State?

Our rival has only won once in Starkville in the last 18 years- we'll be favored in that game

total package is around 2.9- then he has bonuses worked in

Come on, are you really a realist? The foundation has been laid, now comes the crazy task of moving up in the SEC West.
Question, if Freeze has similar results in Oxford after 4 years, will he be on the hot seat?
Posted on 5/16/13 at 9:52 am to CoonassBulldog
being favored always equals winning

1.2M

I was regurgitating what nearly every state fan on this site says. Those were not my thoughts.

Petrino is going to Missouri after next season and the hogs will get a end of season rival game. I'm scared at the though of the trophy, maybe playboy bunny
