I will say one concern that I have from
State’s side is they played extremely well on the road last week, and I worry that it’s hard to play well on the road in back to back weeks unless you’re an elite team. And State probably needs at least a B+ effort to win on Saturday.

College football, after only 2 weeks and most choosing to play directional schools, little is known. This week, expectations turn into reality. Or lack thereof.

For some for sure.
Ole Miss v LSU; State vs USC are going be legit bell weather games for those programs. Obviously different expectations for the future for those teams though (i.e. State and USC aren't expected to make the CFP).
FSU got y'all last season so it will be interesting to see there's a rebound there. Alabama looks like they should get the win.
Florida v Auburn is the only other one I give some weight. They, like State and USC finished at the bottom of the SEC last season.
The rest of the SEC games aren't going to tell us much.
