Jacob Hester's only career fumble was in this game

I can see this play like it was yesterday. He took a handoff straight up the middle and was met by Thomas Davis. He put his helmet in his chest, grabbed his legs, and planted him. I didn't know that that was his only career fumble though, that's pretty darn impressive.

2000 against Florida 47-35. Their 35 was not indicative how just how bad we kicked their arse that day. Held them to -78 rushing yards, 4th & 57. We ran for 350 yards.

Not so much of a beatdown, but beating Auburn 27 - 10 in 06 when they were ranked #2 was pretty satisfying.

No, this was a beat down.

USC 50 ARK 14

The Auburn game did get the bad taste out of my mouth left over from the USC game.

07 Virginia Tech - 40 something to 7: Proved we were elite at the national stage

03 SECCG vs Georgia: So much for 'Georgia is the better team' argument. Never saw an opposing team as frustrated as they were on that day.

What is this beatdown of which you speak?

In searching the memory banks to find a game where the Cocks were the beaters and not the beatees:

2000: USC 25 - #8 UGA 10. Quincy Carter "blows" his Heisman chances with 5 interceptions. Fans tear down the goalposts for the second week in a row as the Cocks end the 21 game losing streak in a big way.

2008: USC 27 - UTe 6. History repeats itself as a loss to the Cocks spells the end of a longtime Vol coach's career. First Johnny Majors in 1992, then Phil Fulmer in 2008.

Rammer Jammer is great. It's even better to hear Auburn sing their version when rolling the tide.

2005 I can't remember the announcers name but after the 4th or 5th sack he said" this is just sad".
