I'd agree with the OP. Stingley and the rest of the LSU secondary just don't seem to be very good at football for how highly rated they were coming out of high school

We get it dude devonta smith caught a go route on him. Like what does that mean to you? I mean aj terell was a first round pick and jamar chase put up 240 yards on him in the natty.
I’ve never seen or heard of a corner that’s never gotten beat. Btw the trick play smith ran on him don’t count as being burned,he was standing and looking at the sidelines when they ran a trick quick count.
I can promise you that every corner can be beat by smith.

Who are you referring to? Because both of our 5 star corners had the two best freshman db seasons ever based on grading

That play from 2020 was the only pass he gave up for over 20 yards in the whole season ,it was only 7 games though.I think he only had 14 targets the whole year. It’s hard to get a lot of ints like that

At least Stingley was diving making an attempt at a play. Diggs is just straight beat so bad here that he decided falling on his face was the best option to take

Stingley may be worse now than he was as a freshman. The entire LSU secondary was highly recruited, but don't seem to have improved much during their time at LSU.
