Man, why are you such an arse about it? The guy just asked a question. I know you hate Alabama with all of your passion and strength, but geez.

Without a doubt it was the Punt Bama Punt game in 1972. The odds of that occurring twice in the closing minutes of the game are infinitely small.
I think it was the same guy that blocked both punts and the same guy that ran it in for touchdowns. I recall news stories that a few Bama fans who had left the game before the end thinking they had won it, were having heart attacks on the highways. A few died. I’m from Alabama, though not a fan of either, and I was 15. The craziest end to a game I have ever seen.

Three must watch games for me every year.

- Army vs Navy
- Iron Bowl
- Egg Bowl

Something crazy is going to happen in at least two of the three.

The kick six. I sat there thinking how that shite could happen. Then, I realized it was Auburn and Alabama, who have both sold their souls and the devil just chose to go with Auburn that day.

I'm an Auburn fan and don't know what this is. Not sure I've heard that one before.

Which game is this?

They got drilled because the team was practicing for Alabama... There is that.

Many took the position that 4th and 31 wasn’t that relevant because it didn’t have playoff implications. So if Bama wins the National Championship, I can only presume that everyone will acknowledge it as the greatest regular season play of all time

Even if that is true, our basic sets on offense and defense shouldnt get blown up by a school we paid to be there. We should win on talent. Pure domination on their part.

I'd argue the play where the FSU QB got hurt had more playoff implications.

Bama got in based on controversy to no surprise.

Gravedigger was the name of the play on 4th&31. The Disaster at the Pasture was 2021 when Alabama drove down field to tie up the game and then win in 4OT.

"IF", come on man. The least you can do is be honest. We all know that freeze was practicing against bama for weeks prior to the iron bowl. That's where that run game "magically" came from. The bama game is always your Championship/Super Bowl. That's why you storm the field if you win.

NM State is actually a good team, your team took them lightly and paid the price. By the way, Gus would have likely won that game. I'm really glad you guys fired him. He was the best coach you've had in many years.
