It was absolutely a great game but the worst calls were not tossing #48 and the no-call on the push away of Fromm’s head after the tackle...neither were questionable. The BS pass interference on GA late and the numerous missed holding calls on Bama’s OL are a couple of others that come to mind but are common no calls. Again a great game.

"call stands" was probably correct.
It's basically impossible to see if he stepped out or not.
If they had called him out it would have been correct to keep it out as well.
Regardless, Georgia made their living tip toeing down the sidelines last night.

Bama gets calls during critical parts of the game and lose calls when they mean nothing. They were playing wild and reckless and the refs just stood there afraid to call holding, late hits, face mask etc. I’m more shocked Kirby sat over there like a little bitch and said nothing. You got to stand up for your team when that shite happens. His QB getting his head shoved into the ground and he fails to react

I have watched it a couple of times but one missed call nobody else has mentioned which looked like it should have been called from what I have seen was the horse collar tackle on Jacobs on the first drive. That was a very dangerous way to tackle someone in my opinion.

The "punt block" was a non-play. Regardless of who was moving or offside it was a pre snap flag. The kick would have been done over either way. The play was whistled dead.

Bama's last td in regulation. WR takes 1 1/2 steps before the ball is snapped. Multiple personal foul no-calls also come to mind. Not getting Michel 25+ touches .

THIS ONE RIGHT HERE.
Utterly fricking ridiculous. Between that and the offsides that wasn't, I have no doubt them zebras had a bunch of money on Bama at Mandalay Bay.
You'd have to be Karl Childers to say otherwise.

Doesn't mean two shits but I'm not satisfied the game was officiated competently & without bias.

Fromm bouncing one off the helmet was biggest shift in the game. Giving Bama that field position at that moment gave them the time needed to pull it off.
And probably the most bailed out pass interference I've ever seen. That too, that had a lot to do with it.

This is what I was referring to above. Bama player was not called for movement therefore you cannot assume that the refs were going to call it. The call on the field was UGA was offsides and the replay showed that to be incorrect. So if the Ref does not make the incorrect call you cannot assume that the Ref was going to make the missed call. If you use that assumption then you are confessing that the game tieing TD was a dead ball play too and should not have counted.

Kinda reminds me of the Patrick Peterson int against Bama yrs ago...he was touching the ...oh wait.....

I thought this for a second when it happened but then guys could just step out of bounds and touch a guy instead of tackling him or put a foot on the line in the back of the endzone and touch a receiver going up in bounds and make him out of play. It just wouldn't work

No one has mentioned that the pass that Ridley caught was intended for Najee, he was mugged on the play - but no foul. Hmmm. Home cooking perhaps.

What nobody seems to have noticed and I may be wrong about the rules of football. He was out of bounds when his back leg swung around and hit the Alabama player who was out of bounds already. Am I correct? Everybody was looking at his foot and the out of bounds and not his other leg which clearly touched the outpf bounds a may player.
I guess it's if the ball is loose. I found this "A ball in player possession is out of bounds if the ball or the player touches anything that is out of bounds other than a game official or another player." from College Football Officiating, LLC.

No that's not how it works. Otherwise a small DB could put a foot out of bounds and tag a back like Henry or Fournette instead of getting trucked.

Thought the no-call personal foul when Mack Wilson went at Fromms head after the sack was pretty crucial too.
