You mean the guy who's been at VT since 1987?

He also has his son getting ready to play next year

His son could probably start for the Hogs shitty defense. We welcome package deals.

If they win it all again this year, would Dabo even move on? I'm not so sure

Even if it's Bama. KSU is a real possibility though.

I guess it depends on his perspective..

Option 1: If he wins again, he feels as if he has taken this program as far as he can and can pass it on to the next guy should Alabama come calling and leaves a legacy.

Option 2: He stays because he has built a program that is now considered one of the elite programs in the nation. He pretty much has carte blanche to do just about anything he wants as he has the adoration and support of the fan base and the administration...He is literally the next Bobby Bowden, Frank Beamer, etc...Also he doesn't have the insane pressure that would come with going to a place like Bama.

It just depends on what drives him and what he thinks is best for his family.

On a serious note, what I'd Bama comes after him as DC? could lay the ground work for Dabo to come as HC in a few years when Saban retires.

Man, I’m an Arkansas alum, and I have to be honest here; no one cares about our basketball program.
It was cool when I was on the Hill in 89-91 and all, but we haven’t really been anything to talk about in 20 years.
Here’s the sad part, our conference is extremely “low hanging fruit” in the basketball department, outside of Kentucky, and we can’t even capitalize on that.
Nobody outside of them really knows basketball exists, or even cares, Seriously.
We’re in a football driven conference, in case you didn’t get the memo. It’s the alpha and the omega. There’s football season, football recruiting season, Spring football, baseball, and then maybe basketball.
The sooner you come to grips with, and embrace this, the better off you’ll be. The SEC will NEVER give two shits about the roundball bro.
Lastly, I never have anyone ask me about razorback basketball EVER. Yes, we had a few high points with Sutton and Richardson, but , no one, including myself, could name who the coach was before Sutton or after Richardson. The only reason I know the current coach is because he was Richardson’s protege.
Yeah, we’ll probably get in the tourney this year, and maybe play a couple of games, but nobody notices that.
