More likely: Vols start the season 2-5 or Ole Miss gets the death penalty.

I'll probably go with Ole Miss getting the death penalty, but the Vols could certainly flop.

Vols 2-5.

The former wouldn't be surprising, the latter is impossible.

If you had said 3-4, I would have said Vols.

2-5 is a tad bit extreme

2-5 is a little extreme, I admit, but so is Ole Miss getting the death penalty. 3-4 for the Vols would certainly not surprise many people.

Honestly the Vos starting 0-7 is more likely.

Not that the Vols starting 0-7 is likely. But Oe Miss has a 0% chance of getting the death penalty. No matter how much people on this site want it to happen.

People need to understand the death penalty is never, EVER going to be handed out again. Ever. Absolutely 0.0% chance.

If PSU didn't get the death penalty I can't imagine that Ole Piss will.

How in the hell do people think Ole Miss has a legitimate chance to get the death penalty?

Because they think the NCAA actually wants to find something. They spent 3 years in Oxford and found nothing.

So I take it you've been thinking about Tennessee this morning.

So they did not find numerous major violations?

Old Miss did not cheat. They are a beacon of everything that is right and just in college football.

I don't think either one will happen but I would say Vols going 2-5 is more likely to happen because I don't think the NCAA will ever give someone the death penalty again.

Like I've said before, we aren't losing to 6-6 ACC team which is relatively inexperienced and playing in their 2nd game with completely new coaches and schemes. So 3-4 is realistically the worst case scenario. And none of UF, UGA, or A&M are good enough to make it likely that UT goes 0-3 in those games.
