This is a legit take. I’m not sold on Sark’s play calling. Behind what was supposed to be a top OL we just couldn’t (wouldn’t) run the ball when we needed to. I’m hoping he learned a lesson in the last game against Ohio State. I expect the defense to get smoked on a big play or two but otherwise lock things down.

Preciate that. I say this often and am hounded by Texas fans for an objective take on the guy. Refreshing to see one fan who doesn’t take it as a personal attack.

It would be an upset if you ever clear that literal shite out your head where your brain should be dumbass.

My offer still stands dipshit.

I just call it like I see it. Every team/program has warts. I like Sark, there’s no denying that he’s not only recruiting but developing talent. But good grief there were too many three-and-outs last year against the good competition and a lot of it was curious play calling.

With 1st and goal from the one in the semi final game being the cherry on top.

LSU will kill Clemson(they and Texas and OSU will be a damn good game to watch). Clemson is not the power they used to be.

I think not really having a true bruiser like Baxter/Najee really hurt our run game last year.

Wisner is great but he’s more of a juice guy than a bruiser. Closer to Bijans style vs Roschon’s.

I would like to believe our run game is better with Cedric back and Arch at QB as everyone knew in the red zone or short yardage they could stack the box and not have to worry about Quinn tucking it and running it.

I’m rooting for both.

With that said, I think Texas has the better chance to upset.

Clemson is ranked number 1 in returning production. LSU snagged quite a bit of talent from the portal but I can see it taking a little bit of time to get everyone on the same page in live game situations and opening up on the road at Clemson leaves a small margin of error.

Same goes with Texas, Ohio State has similar production returning but has the two best players in CFB right now. I expect that game to look very much like the semi-final game and it will come down to turnovers and who can run the football. If Texas goes down 14-0 early, I could see it getting ugly with Arch and Sark trying to force things but for the most part I don’t see Sayin carving up PK’s defense.

Regardless of the outcome, at least these two SEC teams actually scheduled teams with a pulse for game one. Unlike others in the SEC.

No doubt, and maybe the play call would've been different if we had a bruiser tailback in play. But aside from that play the offense was just extremely frustrating to watch at times last year. As if they couldn't get out of their own way. Ewers was the punching bag but the reason he spent so much time on his arse in the first UGA game was the OL. And to me it was because they were being coached to execute a particular scheme rather than just be nasty and knock guys off the line. Sark has been termed as an "offensive guru" but sometimes it just looks like he makes football too complicated than it needs to be.

Texas has a MUCH better chance.

Just look at returning production from all teams…

Texas will beat tOSU. They have a habit of getting credit for playing "name" teams when they have been decimated. Did it with Michigan last year after the ENTIRE team left in the draft, and will do it this year with tOSU. LSU will lose, as they always do.

I think both LSU and Texas will lose. But, LSU has a better chance of winning.

We'll find out if UTa is a contender or a pretender in a hurry.
So if Texas doesn’t beat the defending national champion on the road they’re immediately a “pretender”

Is anybody else in this conference held to that standard?

LSU has Kelly coaching so they're not likely.

No, that's not what I typed.

Texas can lose a non-conf respectable game on the road to OSU and come out it just fine .... but Texas should not be manhandled.

So if we lose, don’t get beat like a rented mule like the Vols did last year at the Shoe
