I actually agree with this. I've been thinking 24-17 Hogs on Saturday. I believe there is a lot of overconfidence on Bama's part, and the Hogs have a lot of pride. And they have a history of national media disrepect and turning that into becoming giantkillers.

Several things a work here, Bama explaining away six sacks last week by 'loss of focus' and not changing anything, Hogs playing at home needing redemption, etc. Wilson may even fire them up on the sidelines.

UPig still has the talent that got them a #8 rank on the field, save Wilson. You really think they're gonna' get killed by Bama if they're leaning into the bit come Saturday?

Bama _should_ win this game on talent alone, but Arky may _want_ it more. UPig emotion plus talent can run w/ the Tide.

I think Arkansas wins this one.

Sadly, we're not. And having watched all 4 teams play, ULM win is more likely.

What's the buzz like in Troy, Rob? Is this y'alls biggest home game ever?

Troy finished 3-9 last year and got pounded at home vs UL-Laffy last week.

I'm not saying this is a dumb thread, but State and Auburn are both gonna cover.

Not sure what it is like. I graduated 8 years ago. Living in Bham. Probably the biggest since it is SEC. But we've had BCS teams come to Troy before. A win would be huge. We beat Mizzou and OK State but those were both weeknight games. This is saturday night though so the atmosphere should be better.

Troy over Miss State would be the upset. We all know ULM is gonna roll Auburn.

That's the beautiful part, we don't have to think about it.

I've got my guess, you have yours. One of us will be right come Saturday afternoon.

See you Monday...

Troy is the most likely upset.

But that doesn't mean it's likely.

Imagine this board if both those things happen. Throw in an Arkansas win and the internet will die.

And the SEC Haters will be doing backflips all week and singing Amazing Grace with our tears.

Game wasn't even as close as the score indicates. They racked up 500 yards passing with only 5 of those passing plays going for over 20+ yards. Just a shitty dink and dunk offense.

The things wrong with Troy can be fixed over a weeks time. ULM played absolutely out of their minds and completely out-coached Arky. Time will tell but I think Troy's chances are better in Troy than ULM's chances in JHS.

Both chances are pretty low, though.

They've sucked for over a year now.

To be more specific, the things I saw wrong during the Laf game. Troy was god awful last year.

Turnovers suck, as I am all too well aware and not necessarily fixable too quickly but depending on what caused the TO's, they could turn it around.

1st road game of the year against the best offense they will have faced all year would lead one to believe State is the more likely upset. Unfortunately I have seen us attempt to run an offense and the short dink and dunk stuff that ULM runs is like Kryptonite to our defense. Auburn losing to ULM is much more likely imo.
