More disappointing season, 2020 or 2023?

I guess 2020 but at least we knew it wasn’t a real season before it began, as it was not officially recognized by the NCAA (didn’t count against eligibility), but 2023 has gotta be the worst national championship team I’ve seen for at least a decade.

Had a classic final 4 with 2 great semifinals, with the only undefeated teams meeting in the final.
Maybe UGA would’ve played Michigan closer but it seems the best team in CFB was rewarded.
Seems like a pretty good year to me.

I’m saying 23 because LSU had a heisman winning QB and still managed to lose 3 games.

That’s true from an LSU standpoint. LSU would’ve beaten Michigan but only because they couldn’t rely on luck all year like Bama did. Seems like luck doesn’t follow Bama in the playoffs though. First round exit for the Tide, next year LSU may squeak by a Penn State or someone though. Because of Michigan cheating Bama will probably claim this year like they claim 2020… no shame in Tuscaloosa.
