Coincidence that speedy has gone social media silent this week? Not like him at all.

I want speedy to fail on the football field, but not in the game of life. Big difference.

I hope he capitalizes on an excellent, free education from a school as good as A&M, but I wish him zero success on the football field. that by no means entails me wanting him to get injured, just to be overrated

Could not be further from the truth. A few days afterwards the Gruden contract was just waiting on the ink to dry. Then Paul Petrino was just like his brother but better.

In all seriousness hoping a player fails is just major

i take it speedy was a shite talker or something? i knew vaguely of him going to aggie as a lousiana boy but didn't know details. i'm not judging or criticizing your stance at all but just curious what he did.

I wonder if there will be any punishment for some of these LSU fans if it isn't Speedy, given this site's history for banning those who make unfounded inflammatory remarks about their players?

We all know the answer of course, just wanted to point out the hypocrisy. If Malachi Dupree's name was being slandered in a similar way the thread would last five minutes.

that's why I have a rule of never talking about individual players by name - except high profile QB's - it's dumb to get caught up in private lives of college kids

armed robbery is some serious shyt though - probably an exception in there some place

He sure could squash this with one post but if he so much as knows who it is, I'd expect him to go radio silent.

Judging from Hamm's post, a player was identified, whether appropriately or not. And nobody else will say a thing until the investigation is over. The Baylor mod also posted something similar, saying his source in law enforcement claims an A&M player was fingered :nohomo: but I'm not buying it yet. If the police hope to make a quick arrest because the guy has a gun, as he said, then bring him in custody and call him a person of interest. If they had enough info, they'd want the guy pointing guns at people off the street. It could easily be a case of paranoia meets trolling meets an educated guess. Definitely a place to step back and let things play out.

Shouldn't celebrate any young player screwing their life up, I don't care what school they play for.

Agreed. It was embarrassing to see all the people on TexAgs that completely lacked empathy over the Golden/Claiborne situation. Forgiveness/redemption is something we should want for everyone.

No one will disagree with the fact that armed robbery is a serious offense. But hoping someone committed this serious of a crime, especially when there is no actual evidence that he did is, is wrong.

He talked "shite" by saying that he'd be attending Texas A&M.

Well he did lead on the LSU coaching staff, but that's not the point.

If LSU went into Arkansas and took arguably the #1 receiver in the country, I doubt you'll have a send off parade for him and want him to win the heisman.

I want him to make the most of his free education at A&M, but I hope drops every pass thrown his way

LSU fans were such little bitches in the Jalen Mills thread and saying wait till all the facts are in. Now just go back and read them in this thread.

There's a cool minority of good LSU posters on here but the majority are the most insecure bunch of fans I've ever seen.

FFS, you beat A&M two years in a row but you're still obsessed with them, Arkansas (Bert damn near got his first SEC win against you), and Alabama.

With the success LSU has had recently you should be more focused on your own team but instead you're obsessed with other teams.

Landon Collins talked shite as was probably out of line.

As far as I know, Speedy did nothing like that.

Hamm heard what he heard from a player. He doesn't have many friends in the Athletic Department but tons of players feed him legit info.
