I knew one thing going into games with Dan as HC. Our players were going to give maximum effort. I haven’t seen that once since he left outside if Auburn and Ole Miss last year.

maximum effort losing to South Alabama.

carried over by a staff member he hired. I'll put the blame on moorhead at 80% for not vetting tho.

were you even at that game or watch that season?? we were horrible. beat ole miss and shea patterson with little to no talent. made a bowl game and won. that was a terrible season and our players still left it all out on the field. Where have you seen that this season?
Posted on 11/21/19 at 12:49 pm to BobLeeDagger
lol he doesn’t even realize it started last fall

what is funny about this and why i brought it up is because the lack of jrs and seniors is all Moorheads fault.
this proves your ignorance. you are dumb, stubborn, and clueless.
take off your maroon and white and put on some crimson.

Has way more talent on roster than you. Please refer to their recruiting rankings.
Do you think a defense that returns 4 starters is going to stop everything?

Kansas State is unrealistic?
The same team that beat OU? The same team that you had to play a truefreshman QB? You realize that the TOP Dual QB at Auburn has had horrible issue this year with WAY HIGHER TALENT at WRs? I mean seriously....
You do realize your academic fraud caused 10 guys to be on the bench rather than STs.... and you allowed a kick off return?

Look what Ole Miss is doing against these schools fresh off of probation. They are competing.
Yes... With better talent at Wrs...
Which is part of the point people are trying to make with you. I believe they have 5 or 6 receivers that are 4 stars and up.
They have a 5 * RB
They have a 4 star QB.
HOWEVER... Moorhead is addressing that.

What have you seen on the field in 2 years that should give any State fans any bode of confidence that Moorhead can even compete with anyone moving foward in the west other than Arkansas?
Still waiting for you to answer this question.

state has good wide outs and no one to throw the rock to them. terrible defense. the most experienced OL in the conference somehow got worse and an amazing running back.
Posted on 11/21/19 at 12:52 pm to Jjdoc
Yeah he inherited an awesome defense, but he also inherited two 50% passers playing out of position at QB

No I expect a "offensive guru" to put up more than 10 against fricking Tennessee.

I have seen a lot of flashes from the youth in that team.
You are about to have a great OL, and Decent WRs. You are about to have a lot of depth on that defense.
Moorhead is managing the Roster that Mullen failed to do. Just go look.

You also keep using the academic fraud as an excuse, but are too retarded to know that the fraud happened under Moorhead's watch.

Leading rusher is a Junior.
Top 4 WRs are a Junior and 3 Seniors.
Starting TE is a Senior.
The entire starting Oline is RS Juniors and Seniors.
The two DEs are Seniors.
One of the DTs is a Senior.
All 3 Starting LBs are Juniors and Seniors.
3 of the 4 base DBs are Juniors and Seniors, and the nickel back is a senior.
Sounds like you're making shite up.

As usual, your take is an idiotic one.
Joe Moorhead inherited a team that won nine games the year before. That team had the all time SEC leading rusher for a QB and two 1000 yard running backs on it, along with an offensive line that had four future NFL players on it. Because Nick Fitzgerald wasn't Dan Marino is irrelevant. Because Osirus Mitchell wasn't Eric Moulds is irrelevant. Mississippi State beat a lot of good teams, including LSU, Texas A&M, and Auburn, by pounding the ball on the ground and being opportunistic in the passing game. That's how the offense was built under Mullen.
Add to that one of the best defenses in school history and the single best defense in the nation that year, loaded with future pros, including three future first rounders. That defense allowed 12 touchdowns all season. Think about that for a minute.
That's what Moorhead inherited. What did he do with it? The offense sputtered - not because we couldn't throw, but because it lacked organization and discipline, and most importantly - aggression. We lost a game to Florida where Kylin Hill and Aeris Williams both got less than 10 carries. We lost three games in 2018 where we were favorites of 7 or more points. We played LSU in Baton Rouge and the defense held their offense to one touchdown drive - three plays for one yard after an offensive turnover.
Joe Moorhead should be fired for what he did to the 2018 season alone, let alone what's happened this year. Personally, I think he should go to jail because what he's done to this program is criminal.
And anyone, and I mean anyone who disagrees with anything in this post is either uninformed, or is a mouth-breathing, window-licking, booger-eating retard.

The decline started with DM. Joe is rebuilding it with better and more players and the proper structure from a roster standpoint.
You're the most delusional MSU fan on this board. Why should anyone be shocked that you think everything is totally fine and heading in the right direction.
He is right. The passing game from Dak, the #1 ranking year dropped UNDER MULLEN over 2000 yards.
That's a decline and everybody knows you have to pass at some point.
on Ms St roster was 2 qbs that passed for 50% Dak left completing 66%
You know damn well what Bama and LSU will do. Man up, beat the shite out of their QB.

I have. I have seen Garrett Shrader step up as a leader as a freshman. I have seen glimpses of hope, I've seen also a lot of frustration and some discipline issues. But lets go ahead and do some revisionist history on Dan Mullen having the greatest discipline and hardworking players of all time.
What i've seen more than anything is a bunch of weakass fans. I don't blame the kids for not wanting to go to state because of shitbirds like you that don't believe in them from Day 1.
