We started Mays and Salyer on the OL for Thomas and Wilson. Anybody else that missed the game missed it for injury or academics; only 2 chose to skip the game.

The point is they were not good enough to start all year. Don't make out that they were just misused players by the previous OC. Everyone wanted to blame Fromm and the OC for UGAs Offensive problems last year, but Fromm was a top 3 QB in the SEC, he just didn't have much around him. But I guess their second string will solve all those problems.

Andrew Thomas is a top 10 pick and Kindley/Wilson will be second round picks. Not like they were being blocked by trash players. As for the WR’s, UGA is returning 2 of their top 3 and bringing in the top WR class in the SEC. Newman will have better WR’s and TE’s than Fromm had last year. Then there’s Fromm, dude was average as frick last year.

If our offense can increase our points by 2 or 3 touchdowns a game and the defense can be as good as it was this last season, then we will have an easier time with most of our schedule.

I think LSU is the only team to get over 20 points on us and had we had a few more conversions to give our defense rest and use us some clock, then they would have been held to a lot less than they got. Had we had a decent offense, we would have made a game of it. Was that Coley's fault? Fromm's fault? Kirby's?

I hope we have a dynamic offense this year and our defense is equal or better. Maybe, that 1980 meme will finally die. lol

They were behind guys that are going to the NFL with the exception of one WR and TE

LOL I mean yea, if you add +14 to +21 to your net scoring margin you will probably be in pretty good shape.

Interested hire. This could be good if Kirby stays out of the way and fixes the culture problem

What culture problem is that?

You literally just described Bama fans. Never seen a fan base pump up their own players more than Bama fans.

They were good enough to help us beat a top 10 team in the bowl.

Its just a dumb point. Let’s illustrate it:

Swift wasn’t good enough to start in 2017.

Using your logic, he wasn’t good.

I am tired of my own Fromm bashing. He is a good Dawg, but he had some serious flaws this year. Lack of mobility was the top of the list, but his deep pass wasn't good and he NEVER used the middle of the field. He also would focus in on one receiver and never saw a lot of wide open players. Often, we had RBs like swift running open with nobody within 10 yards.

If Newman gets the job, and I think he will, then that by itself was going to open up our offense.

We are suddenly an offensive threat and I think our opposition is recognizing it.

So you were happy with the Offense ? All that NFL talent must have averaged 50 points a game.

And you are all trying very hard to convince yourself that he will solve all your problems on Offense. Doesn't UGA return two starters from last year ?

What does that have to do with it? How many touchdowns do o-lineman usually score?

Will def mess up their defensive rating. Can tell you from first hand experience. So you better brag all you can during this off season.

Where do you come up with this trash? Learn to read. He said nothing about being happy with the offense.

I'd rather mess up the defensive rating by scoring quickly than by having 9 three and outs per game.

Nice selective cherry picking of logic. Swift was hurt, but what happen to his replacement ? We he be the difference maker next year, same with the OL. They beat an average Baylor team and now they are automatically better than those they replaced, who struggled most of the year. That is logical.

5 from the bowl game, not including 2 senior OL who started other games or Dominick blaylock.

And a transfer QB and TE/WR. And a stable of 4 and 5 star players. Pay attention, Aubie.
