Who said this? Nice straw man I guess.

struggled most of the year

Yes, Andrew Thomas struggled his way to being a top 10 pick and 2 others struggled their way to second round picks.

Yes. My biggest concern is the early Bama game, but I am a little less pessimistic after events this last week.

LOL I mean yea, if you add +14 to +21 to your net scoring margin you will probably be in pretty good shape.

Top draft picks sometimes play on average teams.

yep, nail meet hammer. None of us were happy with our offense. That is why so many are happy with the new offensive hire and the QB transfer. We should have been having walk in scores all season with our talent. What was the problem?

Do you think the transfer from Wake is better than Fromm? Remember the name Kelly Bryant and the ACC.

You're not good at this.

There comes a time when even an Aubie should realize they should just STFU.

He had 2 1000+ yard in 15. He'll run it when he's capable, imo.

Todd Monken

OK St - OC/QB coach
2011- Total O 548 yards - 5032 passing yards
1 RB over 1200 + 1 over 600

2012- Total O 547 yards - 4260 passing yards
1 RB over 1400 yards

Southern Miss - HC
2015- Total O 509 yards - 4616 passing yards
2- 2 RB'S over 1000 yards each

No. They didn’t. That’s why we were unhappy and ultimately why UGA has a new OC.

Bo Nix would have been better than Fromm last year if he had to throw every pass with his left hand.

It is subjective. Fromm was really good at some things and not so good at others.

I am sure Newman can't do everything Fromm did, but he can do a lot of things Fromm could not - run, buy time moving around to allow receiver to get open, throw on run (Fromm was awful at this), hit targets in middle of field, and his deep ball timing and accuracy looks worlds better. The deep ball part will force teams out of the stacking the box philosophy.

Okay, in general, yeah, I think he is better.

This is true, but it will be nice to have a QB who can actually throw a deep ball.

Nice selective cherry picking of logic. Swift was hurt, but what happen to his replacement ? We he be the difference maker next year, same with the OL. They beat an average Baylor team and now they are automatically better than those they replaced, who struggled most of the year. That is logical.

What part of your logic did I cherry pick?

No one said anything about a backup being automatically better than the starter. Swift wasn’t better than Chubb or Michel, but he was still a badass.

We are likely replacing the stars we lost with our bed stars. See swift following chubb.

I expect him to be more productive.

Remember when k Bryant and r Wilson both left the acc and improved? Of course you don’t.

Monken's offense was 22 of 28 teams and he was part of a fired staff.

That ought to throw fear into the rest of the SEC.

Thought there were 32 NFL teams? Oh well, he did well at most stops in College. Good enough for me.

His HC record at Southern Miss was 13-25. Terrifying.

What was Southern Miss' record before he got there?
