I wouldn't expect a Gamecock fan to respect greatness.

I would expect you to think we should give a moment of silence for a person who is alive and just retiring. That's pathetic.

Touchdown Tommy Hodson or Jeff Wickersham were decent :) YA Tittle never won a title.
You don't remember the Ruston Rifle? Archie Manning was a pretty good quarterback but was never on a "championship" team. It takes a whole team to win championships.

Beat Rex Grossman in one super Bowl and had the worst numbers of any QB to ever win a super Bowl in the other.

Yeah, the Broncos won in spite of Peyton. I was surprised some people entertained the thought of Peyton playing another season.

Given that this is an SEC board, and given that Manning's accomplishments during his days in the SEC weren't terribly significant, your request should be and will be ignored.

Why does Tennessee celebrate this clown and barely mention Reggie White?

Eli is the better QB of the two anyway.

I know but some athletes just do not want to quit. They know once they retire that might be it AND athletes look for any sign that they can still play and it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy "Hey I can still zip that ball 30 yeards downfield! I can still play" Yeah but your so slow moving in the pocket that defenses know they can just plug the middle every play

Going by official NFL rankings: Super Bowl QB

Peyton Manning (Super Bowl L) 13/23 for 141 and an INT
John Elway (Super Bowl XXXII) 12/22 for 123 and an INT
Bob Griese (Super Bowl VI) 12/23 for 134 and an INT
Ben Roethlisberger (Super Bowl XL) 9/21 for 123 and two INT <-- Seems worst to me
