We knew he wasn't coming. But we're shocked we got William Schmidt. 5th rated player and number 1 rhp. Pulled his name out of the draft and made it official.

He has switched from batter to batter, but you can’t switch mid at bat.

Also towards the end of the season he started only throwing from the right side because his stuff is better from the right side.

Better on the right side. Can throw 95 with both arms.

A lot of Mississippi kids in this draft. Either high school or college. Interesting to think what Ole Miss and State could be if their kids stayed home or didn’t go to the MLB.
