I'll be there and it sounds like your tailgating experience sucks. Any suggestions?

So bar hopping is the way to go on gameday?
I went to Harpos last time. It was ok.

Tailgating doesn't suck, it's just not centralized. You almost need to know where to go/have a friend.

From the pictures I saw and the advice I was given go to Booches. It looks awesome.

Here you go, assclown
From the above article: "Entering Booches for the first time is like stepping into Fenway Park or Notre Dame Stadium, there is a palpable connection to history in these yellowed walls. A connection to our fathers and grandfathers. To our roots. It is, respectfully, one of the most enduringly authentic places I have encountered on my travels."

Go to Booches. Drink Stag.
After the bars close, go to the Broadway Diner for a super stretch: a bed of hash-browns topped with three eggs, chili, diced green peppers, diced onions, and shredded cheddar cheese. Gravy may be added for nominal charge.

The stadium is so damn far from downtown and any bars that it makes it tough.
The bars are ok, nothing compared to Fayetteville and Athens but it gets the job done.
If you go to Shakespeare's, make sure you put you order in as "Mike Anderson". It gets you pizza really, really fast.

Irony = Gainesville.
It's a college town, channel your inner 21 year old and have fun. Do some bar hopping, eat well, enjoy actual fall weather, and for christ's sake have someone watching your bus.

Interesting. Stonehog said that downtown Columbia's bar scene was roughly 5 times larger than Dickson Street in Fayetteville and FAR better. He would know, too. He dated a girl who went to Mizzou and he spent considerable time there.
Hmmmm? You seem full of shite.

Just look for the Blue Affliction shirt, spiked hair, and the acid-wash jeans. You'll be able to smell the axe before you see him
