The Block M should stay on the helmets. That’s a traditional look IMO. That’s what the SEC is all about.

To my genreation these aren't "throwbacks". It's Mizzou.
I wish all of you, except Auburn and now UT would get you a uni, stick with it and leave the "alternate" stuff alone.
If you don't wear the same getup...every week,,,then you don't have a uniform. You have a traditional AND an alternate. Wear the same every week, every game, never change helmets or pants, then you are traditional. If you wear your traditional uni 10 weeks out of 11, you don't wear your traditional unis. It has to be EVERY week.

Should keep those uniforms hidden in the basement where the picture was taken. So awkward in more than one way. Just weird. Maybe that's the point, make people feel awkward, like art or something.

Terrible. I don't udnerstand why teams do throwback or alternate jerseys that dont' look as good as their regular ones. The chase daniel pic on page 1 with gold pants, black top, black helmet look pretty good. This makes them look like an XFL team.
UT is the worst offender though with the greys. They've worn grey the last 3 times in a row we've played them in knox and it's just not an intimidating or fearsome thing because it doens't FEEL like tennessee. Maybe it's becuase the decade long arse whoopings are etched in my memory but the classic white pants/orange top/white helmet FEEL like tennessee and at least kinda presents a certain image and feeling. The greys are nothing, you remove any kind of nostalgia intimidation you might otherwise have.
