3/10 of a mile is right at six minutes. no matter how you splice it.

Yes, I can see how St. Louis bidding on a basketball tournament to be held in five years can really be a burden to you. I bet people are jumping out of windows all over the SEC over this.

out of their trailer windows and landing next to their propane tanks?

Or maybe two throws of the baseball. I bet I could do that.

3/10 of a mile is 1500 plus feet. you think can throw a baseball 750 feet?

yah. It simply doesn't take six minutes to walk from the peabody to the Forum. Come out of the hotel on third street, and you're a straightshot block and a half away.

But whatever. last post on the subject. I'll stopwatch it tonight, and give an exact time.

I think STL would be a great location to host the Tourney! Decent number of hotels downtown, metro to get you into downtown if you don't want to stay there, The Hill, restaurants and bars in Laclede's Landing and The Loop, gambling on the Riverboats. Best of all, direct flight on Southwest from LR!

Only downside is it would be colder than Atlanta or NOLA, which might be a deal breaker!

If St. Louis can bring enough $$$, let em have it. We should move all of it around more often, IMO.

Memphis is actually a lot closer to centrally located in the SEC than it was before Mizzou and TAMU. Baseball should go there at least a couple of years.

I'd rather see Louisville get a bid for the SEC Tournament. No reason it shouldn't be in the state of Kentucky every once in awhile now that they've built the YUM! Center.

And while it may be an easy trip for UK fans, we much prefer Atlanta, Nashville, NOLA, and etc. And those are all within good distance for the rest of the SEC. St. Louis isn't.

Agree w the piggy.

The 'Lou is a hell of a nice town. Memphis I could also support. Move it around. Fact is we love our round ball up here and March Madness is fun as hell if you are good enough to get a bid. Fill out a bracket and follow along if you're not

We will hold up our end of the SEC bargain come basketball season.
