the racial blow-up at mizzou in 2015 was a flashpoint national issue that was not standard daily drama like it is right now.
that was a major event that triggered a lot of firings, an entire state to hate the school, alumni vowed be done forever, and enrollment dropped so far they turned dorms into hotels.
it was a big deal. your point about it just being a blip is not a counter point to what I'm saying, it actually strengthens the point. it was a shock attack on the system and it absolutely was caused by years of cultural decay under pinkel. most knew the hatred wouldn't last forever and the 'new normal' makes it even less of a deal now 5 years later.
2016 mizzou was not a good roster. do you not remember the offense in 2015?
there was major roster issues from pinkels final recruiting classes being basically falsely ranked with an incredible amount of signed players that either never made it to campus or were at mizzou for just a short time.
you need to go back and look at those final few pinkel classes and roster fall out after 2015 to understand things better.
and yep, pinkels decision to gas texas was a massive mistake and absolutely hurt the roster that barry took over.
you're sitting here ripping barry in year one and two, 2016 and 2017, coming out of a hole that you won't recognize as being as severe as it really was, and at the same time you're saying you'll be fine with .500 and letting drink build his team. how truly bizarre.

Barry sucked as a coach.
You sucked as Sleepy Tiger.
Barry got fired.
You got banned.
Barry shows up again at Arkansas.
You show up again on the Rant.

Hang it up! Get over with it! Enough is enough! Please no more post about Odom and putting down Mizzou!

without a proper, true, honest and non-perverted understanding of the past one is more likely to lose their way.
the core mizzou fanbase, if there even is one, wasn't honest and remains dishonest and I really believe it will cost the program everything in due time.

Mizzou cleaned up the issues and now with new faces and things are looking better and you don't agree with that? That is better to start over and that is what was needed to bring in new people to remove the problem in Mizzou. Odom may not be 100 percent the problem but he did poorly and couldn't recruit and if he had stayed another year Mizzou probably would've ended like Tennessee, Kansas, or Arkansas and then would have a harder time to find a good HC to come to Mizzou. That is why Mizzou went to that route to avoid a downfall in football.
Also Odom as a bad fit to correct the problem when things got bad during the losing streak. It was best to replace him before a potential downfall in football. Many SEC fans on here were attacking Mizzou fans about the situation. It was the right now and it worked out better than Most people thought. If you think it was not better then you do not know what you are seeing or hearing that was going on after the cleaned up and now things are by far much better and on the right path to success. That is what needed to be done to protect Mizzou and the football program. No other way or it would ended up like Kansas, Tennessee, and Arkansas. Now South Carolina is struggling to hire a better HC due to mistakes by AD. Any negative is needed to be addressed ASAP. Barry Odom is a great guy and a great player at Mizzou. But just not a good HC to make the next level. Timing may have been not fair to Odom. He shouldn't have been the HC and should have taken the Memphis job to get the experience needed before taking on a SEC school gig that in the toughest conference.

press the enter key occasionally and I might read more than the first sentence.
mizzou is in a positive space currently and the coach is a positive person - disingenuously manipulatively positive - but it works, at least for a short time, which is likely all he'll be here anyway. he's a master of perception management, which can be attributed to his true nature as a cleverly disingenuous person, ie a lawyer, which is his natural profession and life calling.
the literal sludge that barry dug out of isn't properly accounted for in the historical catalogues of the missouri collective.
the road to this moment of light isn't understood
and because of that the mid and long range future isn't as certain as it should be

At least Mizzou has this woman to represent them.

Barry lost his job because of 2018 and 2019.

won 8 games in 2018, broke records
2019 transition-gap year at the qb position, went out and got the most prized transfer in school history and it didn't work out, oh well, shite happens, then the kid he targeted as his next program leader goes on to be SEC FR of the year this year.

He would have ruined Bazalek just like he did Bryant. Thank God for Drink. Those offensive numbers all went up this year or Bazalek’s career would have been over before it started.

do you not remember the mizzou and SEC passing records broke the two consecutive years before bryant?
that voids your comment
kelly bryant was a PR stunt that everyone hoped would also be good on the field for one year as the program bridged offensive leaders.
you can't counter a point with a non-point. it doesn't work that way.

You have been countering points with non points this whole thread. I was just following your lead. Now get back to explaining never beating Kentucky and losing to Middle TN State and Wyoming.

everyone single person knows that wasn't a TD at the end of Kentucky game.

This is how I know you are a piggie. They lost to Auburn, but claim it was a win. Now make an excuse for all of the other losses I mentioned.

fair and true observations aren't excuses
kentucky was stopped at the end of that game
kentucky was stopped at the end of that game
