Holy shite, that's a name I've not seen for a long time around here. Hope all is well.

I was thinking the same thing, but couldn't remember how long it has been. Over 3 years off the grid, for a prolific poster from days gone by. Glad to see him back on here.

There’s a lot more of these in September, but these are when Missouri fans elevated him to God status after rallying to beat our bad team.

Best wishes to him, he seems like a great kid. But the reality is that if Mizzou fielded even an average SEC QB, we'd likely be in the Playoff. We had an elite defense, a first-team all American running back, a loaded WR room, but the worst passing offense in the SEC. Some of that falls on coaching/playcalling, but Pribula simply wasn't a good passer this season.

1. He can’t throw a deep ball.
2. He doesn’t have a left eye.
3. He runs in to the pash rush.
4. He is scared to hold the ball more than two seconds.

Like you said, good kid but poor qb.

So does churning out QBs to the transfer portal also add to the name sake of QBU for Mizzou?

He was a bust. It happens. He looked great against slow inferior teams, like kansas, but even lower tier SEC defenses showed the lack of arm talent and situational awareness.

This clears the decks at QB for either Zollers or a portal QB next year. Whatever, the passing offense needs a major upgrade. And that includes the OLine, which was bad in pass pro most games. Even pathetic UMass recorded 4 sacks and several pressures.

The thing is, Pribula looked like he had it early on. Leading a comeback against KU, he was delivering dimes under pressure from the pocket into tight coverage. I'm guessing he got shellshocked from taking hits in the pocket. He started fleeing the pocket too early, and his throwing on the run was not good. The result was often a throwaway or a 1-yard pass to Norfleet.

Onward.

Pribula's head wasn't in the game:

And Missouri fans don’t get the memo.

Now they’re back to the drawing board at QBU, where legends like Blaine Gabbert and Kirk Farmer are made. I think the best one Chase Daniel made career backup.

Any boasting about Pribula early on doesn't compare with your crowing about how great Lance Leipold was going to be for your pathetic program. What a turnaround!

Back to the dregs of football at 5-7. In the Big 12 no less. And who can forget his courageous decision to punt down by 4 in the 4th quarter against Missouri? Result: Game-icing long TD run by Roberts. That's your coach through 2029. Good luck!

Kansas fans trying to talk football are quite funny without even knowing it.

I’m not defending Kansas on that play but the coach made the right call. If it was fourth and one, fourth and 2? Yeah you go for it. But it’s not like he trusted his defense on a short field. Hence the punt

As qualified as Missouri is.

Our last conference titles are a year apart in the 60s, our head to head is almost even, but we nip you in BCS victories 1-0.

How ugly will it be if you extend Drinkwitz only to lose at the Booth next September?

Yes, the glorious pre war years of kansas football.

What? What war?

I beg your pardon. The Great War.

What? Ah, of course. The First World War. Yes, that one.

* Missouri Mentioned *

You already know Jrv2damac is lurking in the thread...

Beau was mid and kU made him look like a Heisman contender.

Gotta roll the dice in the portal and try to hit it big.

We made every QB look good.

But not everyone swooned over their QB afterward like Missouri did.

It was creepy and just reminds me that we are your SB.

His obsession is a plea for relevance.

He must post in every Mizzou thread to every Mizzou poster to remind anyone reading that long ago we were in the same conference, or people would forget kU exists and existed.

17 years of hopelessness will do that.

His posts read like “Remember me, daddy Mizzou. Remember me!”
