When it's hot, you'll be miserable in anything. Dresses are much more cool than shorts (and keep legs from being burned). I enjoy wearing a button down cause, well, pit and chest stains are a lot more easily disguised by the time the third quarter of the opening game rolls around

For the month of September that is fine. But October when it is in the 50s and November when it is in the 30s-40s what is acceptable "dress-wear" iyo?

Like I said in another post, when it starts getting colder I begin wearing jeans, a button down, and a blazer (khaki is my preference), along with my hat (I'm never not wearing my hat).

For girls, it's just preference. Some still like to wear a longer sun dress with a cardigan and/or leggings, while others will throw on some jeans and a sweater.

I wear Gold Khakis, a white button down (usually rolled up, a purple sweater vest, and a white LSU visor to every game. If it's too hot I'll wear gold khaki shorts instead of pants

Nothing wrong with this.

During a hot September in the South??? Yes.

That's why I always hated the A&M game when I was a student at LSU in the early/mid 90s.

Besides getting our arse kicked, I lost ten pounds from sweating through my frat star uniform. Never failed to be the hottest game of the season.

It was worth it for cheap reserved seats in the student section though. Though come November there was always plenty of room to sprawl as Curley ran off more and more of the bandwagon contingent.

I feel like hardly anyone adheres to this outside of Oxford and Athens. The only time I dress up is if I'm sitting in the boxes.

Khakis and a t-shirt in September, jeans and a sweatshirt in October, sweat/warmup pants and sweatshirt/jacket in November.

I'm sorry. I'll never wear a blazer to games. I'm wearing a Mizzou t-shirt and shorts on hot days and on colder days a light long sleeve sweater with jeans. I may wear a trendy jacket if it's cold enough...

But I'll never wear a blazer to a game.

If it makes you feel better, it's not a dress blazer. Got it at Sears for like $20. And It's either that or an old UGA windbreaker that was my dad's when he was with the team in the 80's. Just depends on the type of cold (50's and windy or 30-40's and wet, etc.)

Big emphasis in the SEC, I would think, is on the ladies: unless you're in HS or just aren't that acclimated to SEC football, dressing nice is just what girls have done at games for a while now. At UGA, it's pretty easy to spot the girls who either DGAF about being there or who just don't know much by the way they dress.

12th Man jersey and cargo shorts for hot weather; boots, jeans, and jacket for colder weather.

Not dressing up for football games--had to wear an ROTC uniform to 4 straight seasons of football Deal with it.

Having been to several games in College Station I will say its worth noting that Texas A&M girls are in the same boat with Mizzou girls on this one. Both will need to step it up there's no other way around it. Aggie chicks were always wearing maroon t-shirts or jerseys with shorts or jean skirts and boots when I've been there.

Red seersucker pants and a black or white polo (Polo or BB) before Labor day.

Khaki shorts and a red, black, or white polo after Labor day when it's still hot.

Khaki stadium pants or red slack and a white button down with a red or black sweater when it gets cold.

Always worn with Sperry's, unless it is damp outside and I wear my duck boots.

And my girlfriend will always wear a dress...perhaps with leggings when it's cold outside.
