Besides aTm, Mizzou has been the biggest prize on the conference realignment table that actually came true. Be glad you got both the big ones and leave us the frick alone.
Hey they could have gotten Maryland, about same population, better athletics, better facilities, better off financially even though the Big Ten is paying for their travel expenses if needs be. And they are a TRUE southern state. SEC fumbled the ball on this expansion deal.
Big Ten=winner.

You will be fine in the SEC. This is all hazing. It will work out. SEC Traditions are strong. The more you play, the more you become a part of it.

Maryland is out of play. Still. I suspect that they will lose that case.

The answer is: Yes
The reason is: because we're better than you.

Porkster,
What?!!! That's not what you said on our camping trip when we played pitch and catch in the tent during a snow storm in the privacy of the lush Colorado evergreens.
My feelings are hurt.
Regardless, you're sexy when you're mad.

Dude y'all suck anyways. And not just in football.
Dude we really don't want to get into why LSU is so good in football. Louisiana native, know people that played at LSU. And everybody in Louisiana that have family members that plays football knows if LSU wants you to get in, you'll get in no matter how dumb you are. There's a reason why a certain segment of the population down there HATE LSU. They know if it weren't for football a lot of people wouldn't even get to step foot on that campus. Who was that guy that scored a "4" on the wonderlic, how in the hell did he pass courses at LSU. Maybe LSU is that "easy". Can't say the same for Mizzou recruits. Maybe they'll start "pulling" some strings and get the faculty "in line" since they're in the SEC.
But I did hear that LSU turned down Lacey because he's dumb as frick, for some reason he got into Bama. Strange how all these "smart" guys get into these major SEC schools.

Lets not open a can of worms.....

When Claiborne came out of high school, the schools that recruited him knew he had a learning disability. I don't know much about his disability other than it has to do with reading. Everyone I have talked to tells me that Claiborne has great character and is a great kid. He knows and understands his disability and uses all the resources that LSU has available to control it and to help him get by in the classroom. When it comes to football he puts in extra time to learn and understand his assignments and it is not a problem. Will he need reps? Probably, but no more than the usual rookie would need. In saying that, Claiborne's test score was NOT a true indicator of his intelligence. He can and does learn.

In a heart beat. Get away from all the meth addicted cousin frickers and join a conference where they can actually put together a coherent sentence beyond "You gonna get raped.". It will be a breath of fresh air that I cannot wait for.
In all seriousness(though I know that's not what this thread is about), was never a B1G fan and still am not. Was a fan of getting out of the Big 12 no matter where though.

So you were willing to go to the Big East or Conf USA?

I wasn't. Luckily...in our case it was:
Big Ten
SEC
Big 12 (status quo)
Hope for the best if Pac 10 poached the Big 12.
The hoping for the best thing is what caused the move.
However, I doubt we play the card we did with the Big Ten if the threat of the Pac 10 was real.

Just out of curiosity, how is the money in the B1G compared to the SEC.

Hopefully the SEC Network money will make it close to even. SEC brought in 38,000,000 less than the Big Ten last year.
SEC is the 4th most valuable conference monetarily last year.
Don't worry guys, we're here to help.

I don't know if I would go that far, but the Big 12 had gotten to be unbearable.

Guess we shouldn't have been unanimously invited in an effort to bolster an SEC Network to make up for the fact that most SEC states are low population hellholes.

I don't think many thought the SEC was an option, but when AM went then there was hope. The fan base wrote and email the AD and anyone that would listen about going to the SEC. I can take hazing, but MU fans have step it from the beginning with 200 million in expansion. The first every selling out season tickets. Added 2000 new donors and donor money up 18%. I am from NC, and went to school at MU, we might never be like like most SEC fans, but it not like you woke up in morning with 90,000 plus stadium overnight. I care less what Rkansas thinks about MU, as an matter of fact I care less what anyone of care about MU. Just like you I love my school. Win lose or draw. Mizzou 4 life.
so kiss it
P.S. Love being in the SEC
