What the hell is wrong with calling for an upset? They're just rooting for their school and team. Even your post states that they acknowledge UGA is the better team or it wouldn't be called an upset. Guaranteeing a win? Different story. Fact is, almost everyone had this game written down as the most assured loss of the season. Due to unfortunate injuries and because of the way Mizzou has played (albeit against lesser competition) has given Mizzou fans HOPE (not cockiness) when there was no hope there prior to the season.

Yes Mel Kiper jr and the other guy on ESPN's CFB daily are talkin about it. Says "Missouri is under the radar, beat Vandy on the road, beat Indiana on the road that just beat Penn State, have athletes on both sides of the ball, UGA is a banged up team, telling UGA to bring their "A" game".
The other guy said it'll be hard not to pick Missouri straight up in that game.

I just hope Mizzou can keep it close and interesting. In no way do I expect Mizzou to actually beat a top 10 team in their house.

If we are cocky, its not because we beat Vandy, its because we went there and put up 50+. Thats difficult to do to any SEC team

What I find funny is how, 3 or 4 months ago, this board was still fellating James Franklin the coach as the best thing ever and Vandy was an up and coming program and "real" SEC team that was CLEARLY going to finish ahead of Mizzou in the East this year and was going to spank dat Yankee arse in Nashville.
Now after Mizzou dismantles them they are back to being "just Vandy."
Am I cocky about beating them? No. But I find the sudden about-face stance of this board toward Vandy's current program strength and its pecking order relative to Mizzou absolutely hilarious.

A choke by their biggest rival, a down UT, and a Missouri to beat up on last year made it difficult to tell that they were still Vandy. Now we know.

Thank you. And nobody talked shite about South Carolina or Vandy after that game. Vandy was a good team. But let Mizzou beat the shite out of Vandy now vandy is vandy, Vandy sucks. But when Ole Miss and South Carolina beat Vandy, vandy is a middle pack SEC team. I don't recall anyone trashing Vandy after the losses to Ole Miss and USC. Now Mizzou beats them, they are garbage

It's a shame Mizzou but the big boys of the SEC always feel the need to pick on the little guys and act like it's a crime for the little guys to show a little swag and have confidence in their teams ability to win the game against UGA. Keep believing and don't let these "better than you assholes" keep you from posting or believing. Good luck Mizzou.

Dude I bet we can go back to July-Sept and last season and see people giving Vandy props. saying Vandy is good, will compete, etc. Now Mizzou beats them Vandy all of a sudden is "Vandy". SEC Ranters are funny. Nobody was talkin that shite about Vandy before the Mizzou game, nobody was downing Vandy before the Mizzou game. Wonder what changed.
I'm laughing at the -3 line for the Missouri vs Vandy game. Mizzou shattered that shite.
Now UGA is -11. I might go ahead and bet on that shite.
