The only reason I have seen reading anywhere is he got fired for being to demanding/tough on his players and cursing. Some will call him a dick, some will praise him for his style. Unless I hear more, I'll fall into the latter group and just call it the pussification of kids these days that got him fired.

Any of you guys read his reply today? I think Dave matter or someone posted it. Seems like a really strange situation all around. I’d hate to lose a guy that had a 73% win percentage.

He got all 3 of his heterosexual players pregnant. Good riddance...

This is not good. Kids today have no backbone. From the St. Louis Post Disgrace - Earleywine ...
"I think this all boiled down to philosophical coaching differences between MU and myself. We’ll never know for sure, but here’s what I think: I believe in winning. Winning isn’t always warm and fuzzy. It’s not a love fest. It’s a fight. Being a highly competitive coach means occasionally getting on your players when they aren’t giving their best effort. A tool they will need if they want to be successful in life. That approach is heavily frowned on at Mizzou (and is the trend nationwide nowadays) which is evident by the response I received from Brian Brown a couple months ago when I asked, ‘Do you think Nick Saban and Geno Auriemma with their hard-nosed approach could coach at Mizzou?’ He responded, ‘You know, I don’t know, that’s a good question.’ You know there’s great administrative confusion about what a good coach is when those two can’t qualify as ‘Mizzou Made.’
This guy is going to surface at a SEC school and kick Mizzou's arse for the next 20 years.

Good lord. Burn it down, start over. He’s better off somewhere else if the above is accurate.

It’s kind of fun watching Mizzou athletics implode. Still waiting for them to change the mascot to the “Nonfighting but strongly protesting Social Justice Warriors.”

I don't know what happened here, but as a cynical a-hole myself, I smell some bullshite like "He worked us too hard."
You don't fire a winning coach two weeks before the season b/c he works kids too hard. It's going to end up being something like he was screwing students or harassing people.
But of course some Mizzou fans with their Big 10 boners just want to look the other way like all the other Big 10 schools.
