If you're looking for me to defend KA's coaching performance, you'll be waiting as long as it takes to get your next intimate contact with a woman.

Like a starving man on a Christmas ham. That's how fast they would jump on Anderson if they could get him back.

The offense was enjoyable, but other than that I despised it.

See I didn't care for the offense. There was no offense. I haven't watched enough of Arky this year to know if he has changed, but it was a very undisciplined offense.

Probably true but he had decent talent at MIZZOU and had he respectable W/L records but I don't think his 60 mins of hell gets ya to final 4's or Nattys.

They said the same thing of Nolan. He's been to the elite 8 twice I believe at inferior programs. No unrealistic to expect a final four and a shot at a NC if we can catch lighting in a bottle. If Portis stays, we have a shot next year. And who knows with this years team. 3 of the last 4 against UK. They can beat anybody on any given night. And lose to anybody on any given night. I'm just glad to have Hawgball back.

It's no slight to Mizzou. Arkansas is home.

It's not that he left. It's the fact that he stopped recruiting for 12 months before he left. One could argue that MA is as much responsible for the current state of Mizzou's program as anyone else. His not bringing in a single recruit forced Haith to do nothing but transfers. Relying on transfers is a house of cards and Haith was smart enough to leave before it crumbled, leaving KA to pick up the pieces.

The half-court offense was non-existent but I enjoyed watching them create plays on the fly

Let's be fair. He did guarantee that Otto Porter wouldn't come to Mizzou by sitting in his living room and lying to him the day before he took the Arkansas job.

Not just recruiting, but coaching too. Mizzou got snowbound in KC on their way to Stillwater his last season, so my dad and I made the trek to watch them practice while they were in town......it was the most unstructured and nonconstructive "practice" I've seen in any sport.

Needless to say, Oklahoma State shredded us the following day.

For such a weak troll you did pretty good suckering some of us in to defending a 7 win team but I'll ask again if MA flames in the 1st round this year and next year does no better or regresses do you still want him?

No. You do. Because now you're bothered by my accurate and honest assessment. And you're a little worried that I'm right. Take a breath. It's ok. Not everyone can be brilliant. You be you.

They were all ready to fire him last year and they will be again if it's a 1st round loss and followed by no tourney next year.

Just like Nolan. The NC team did have some what of a half court offense, but even Scotty Thurman's big three in the NC game was due to a busted play. Dwight Stewart was supposed to shoot it. It is what it is. Nolan kicked Dean Smith's arse, Pitino's, Krysweidhciciah@#(the Duke coach)arse, Jim Boheim, and others. Can't argue with success. Those of us old enough to remember know what to expect and are willing to take the good with the bad. Especially after the shite sandwiches we've been having to choke down the last 20 frickING YEARS!!!!!

I think I've elucidated that idea sufficiently. I'll let you sort it out.
