I'm not gonna lie, I was pretty angry once the game was over. Stuck on the stairwell, waiting to get out of that place, a Mizzou player walks over with a MIZ ZOU sign and holds them up straight at us.

Of course I flip the double bird. I swear to god he looked right at me, and nodded his head in the most smug way possible. I wanted to jump the fence and fail at kicking his arse at the time.

Thinking back, I can't blame him. Makes me laugh thinking about it.

I haven't yet run into any SEC fans that weren't absolutely great and classy. Our fans are some of the best...

Of course if you listen to Big 12-1-1-1-1 fans like ku...Okie...or Texass they will do their best to paint us as arseholes. I think mainly because of the butthurt when we jilted them and moved to the greatest conference in the country. They just can't get over it...

You all need to travel to our Columbia next year..I'll buy you a beer and some great pulled pork....

I recall a similar thread from Georgia fans after our first meeting with them back in 2012. The fans who made the trip to Columbia were very complementary of the welcome they received and the way they were treated. Always good to hear our fanbase is generally treating people right and being respectable unlike the Bama mom's and piss-ballooners of the world.

Not entirely true...most places have the option of "unsweet" tea for the real yankees or sweet tea for the rest of us.

We stopped off for lunch in St. Charles not two months ago and the "Iced tea" I ordered wasn't default sweet, so I'm still skeptical. But it might just be bad luck.

If you were wearing any that had USC on it, then there's your answer. IF you weren't then the waitress could tell you were from the "other" Columbia.

But no... I wasn't wearing anything with USC on it and none of us have a pronounced southern accent, so I don't think she was just assuming animosity.

Must have been. Being the typical Midwestern version of trim there really wasn't the option of her actually seeing it, though...
