The Company now runs the SEC network and basically caters to whatever our schools do (whatever one it is that you support) so I don't know why you're up in arms about it.

While ESPN runs the SECN they do not support the SEC from the parent.

#1 SECN studio is in ACC footprint when ATL or NASH would be better
#2 ESPN runs recruits to the ACC at the expense of the SEC
#3 SECN is regional, ESPN national so hurts recruiting when they are arse kissing UNC and Duke

SEC has always been strong in WBB (over half the league has been to a Final Four) but they never get the corresponding love from ESPN to shift recruiting to the SEC. Instead they cover schools with lower followings and push players there. The reason Pat stopped playing Geno every year was ESPN flipped Maya Moore from SEC to AAC which if any other booster had done it would have resulted in NCAA sanctions.

If the sport is to grow, ESPN needs to promote the leagues actually putting fans in the seats so it will grow the overall base of the sport. Right now the leagues that draw the most live fans are the SEC and B1G yet ESPN works against growing their bases. I love that 2 SEC schools made the Final Four last year but ESPN never gave them the love they deserved. Vols have fallen but Cocks and State have picked up the slack, just with Disney would support what they have done.

Mizzou fans are bigger whiners than aTm. Did Staley eat your Mom’s box and never call again?

This wouldn't surprise me given the behavior of many of the SC fans during the Clemson football game this year.

I get SECN here in NY on my basic cable package.

We don’t have an SEC team here.

I’ve also never seen ESPN blow any women’s ACC teamS
I would actually say prior to Gino being really good they were blowing Pat Summit and UT

Think this just goes back to Women’s basketball really.

When it comes to fooball ESPN blows all of us even to the point of creating other pundits just to make hot takes against us.

I can't believe I just skimmed through 19 pages on WBB... Somehow ending on discussion of Kancho... I guess this thread delivers? I'm just not sure what yet... Seemingly it would be mostly delusional Mizzou posters looking to spin this shite into a better direction.

There is no scenario where the Mizzou AD comes away from those comments looking good - even if he had video evidence of the actions occurring... You can't connect fan actions to the coach without more than a prior matchup getting heated. Particularly throwing out racist claims as a white male against a female... And that's if it was even true... You just can't win that battle. In this case, literally nothing credible supports his claims at this time, and he's tried to Homer Simpson his way into the bushes now.

Coaches bitch about officiating. This is nothing new... Not sure how that's somehow creating or inciting an atmosphere that encourages racism or violence. If that's the case, then nearly every coach in history has done this at some point and it wouldn't have been noteworthy.

I'd love to see any form of substantiation of his claims... Particularly when Tanner has already indicated that they investigated further with the security details that covered the team. If it had been bad enough for the AD to comment publicly, it would have been bad enough for a coach in the aftermath of the game to bring it up.

PS: points for the dick riding taters CG joke... Was well played and had to chuckle. Sorry CG.

No apology necessary, fib...I got a laugh out of it, too.

Here's a little something Gamecocks are suggesting the taters add to their "rock" on their "hill" to honor their love of kancho.

#1 Cocks are getting good numbers now and happy about it but they are the new kids
#2 Even down, Vols can still fill venues, and can easily pass the Cocks if they get hot
#3 ESPN blows Uconn and the ACC even tho the numbers don't support it

Bonus, Iowa State is a good place to watch a basketball game.

OK, my point in even pointing out that USC leads WCBB in average home attendance was to emphasize that USC has huge crowds come to USC games, and have had many of those games against big opponents in big-game scenarios, and no one ever accused USC of what Mizzou accused them of. It was to accentuate my position that Mizzou's accusations are bullshite.

So, you counter my point by:

#1 post butthurt comments about UTjr.'s attendance figures, when my point had ZERO to do about UTjr., what my point was arguing against had ZERO to do about UTjr., and my point wasn't even boasting about USC's attendance averages as much as using them as emphasis to support my point. None of this has anything to do with UTjr.

#2 Still obsessing about UTjr. in a thread about South Carolina and Missouri?? What a sad spectacle you make.

#3 well since you can't even stick with USC and Missouri, and have to drag UTjr. into the conversation, why then NOT also drag UConn and the ACC into it as well? It counters my above argument just as poorly, but in a similar spectacular way.

And thanks for the Bonus addition of Iowa State, which finally has SOMETHING to do with South Carolina and Missouri, unlike the other schools....

Missed opportunity to make a Track and Field or Limbo joke if you were going to go off topic...
