Which part doesn't make sense? You yourself said you finished at the bottom of the SEC twice in only 12 years. Add to that, your losing record for that same time span and you get a really shitty outlook for your program.

A program of MU’s caliber finishing only twice at the bottom in over a decade is to be commended.
At any rate, fans of SEC teams that have lost to the Big Ten this season should keep their heads down and eat humble pie.
