Twitter smoke

Look, I know Missouri isn't southern. But let's make the best of a bad situation. Kick out Missouri and take their southern brothers. They recruit on the same level, facilities are largely identical, academics are roughly equivalent.

Springfield is a better town than Columbia with more history. Missouri State has actually won some conference championships.as we know, baseball is not comparable, as Missouri is total dog shite at America's pasttime

*Note they are far enough south to grow grass

It will give us a more regional Ozarks rival, instead of bussing us to the flatlands of the midwest to freeze our arses off

The argument that made sense for Missouri makes sense for Mo State too: we don't want them, they aren't a fit, and they'll never compete, but need even numbers. So let's take a third rate athletic program in a state that doesn't care about college sports to try and get some eyeballs in the big cities there.

You know there's something to it...check their board and note how afraid Missouri posters are of this very real possibility

At long last, I admit additional conference expansion is inevitable. The powers that be are simply hellbent to continue dilute the SEC in pursuit of $$$. So let's right a wrong and get MSU in (and perhaps more importantly, Missouri out)

I speak on behalf of all Arkansas posters as I cast our inaugural expansion team vote wholeheartedly in favor of swapping Missouri State for Mizzou!!

I’m would be for it, but I think we’ve reached our limit of team with maroon-ish team colors.

If it would help with visual identity, I think we can insist they wear the jerseys on the left for all baseball games

Can’t take anymore red teams. And even though this doesn’t apply to them, no more bulldogs or tigers.

Petrino is a far better coach than Drink and their basketball and baseball programs are definitely superior to Missouri. Seems like it could work.

Springfield is also home to French’s. Tennessee would be all in!

I can understand why you’d prefer them, Arkansas might actually beat them once in awhile.

They couldn’t be any worse considering Mizzou is at the bottom of the SEC in all 3 sports

Which makes me glad that Georgia's shade of red (a rich, bright red) is unique in the SEC.

Official shade of red colors:

Alabama = Crimson
Arkansas = Cardinal
Mississippi State = Maroon
Ole Miss = Cardinal
Oklahoma = Crimson
South Carolina = Garnet
Texas A&M = Maroon

The recruiting joke isn’t even funny… say they play the same, or both suck, but come on technically mo state recruits more like Arkansas

I'm onboard. Mississippi State gets relegated from their MSU title. Now belongs to Missouri State

Hell yeah. I fully endorse this. I’ll post more after I’ve had more to drink and marinate in this excellent post.

That’s a good pound for pound stadium.
