Nebraska was a far more attractive option for the B1G than Mizzou with their rabid football fan base and national championships. Too bad the 90s aren’t coming back.

If you ware only talking about success on the football field sure.

However the Big 10 was also acting much like the SEC when looking at expansion teams and wanted schools with larger state populations and big metro areas. Missouri crushes Nebraska in that regard. Missouri was also never in danger of losing it's AAU status which is also extremely important to Big 10 schools.

shite, it's why the SEC quickly jumped on Mizzou over taking a more natural fit like West Virginia.

I salute Mizzou for having the balls to tell them to piss off when the Big10 was pushing for a multi year junior membership instead of full in year one.

Do you admit Mizzou and Delaney were talking?

Follow up: do you admit subsequent teams admitted to the Big 10 have come in as junior members?

For a guy with smart in your user name you sure seem to have some brain blockage. If Nebraska had to take a junior membership it would have been requested of Mizzou as well. This isn't rocket science.

This is one of the best post I have read all day....a Razorback wanting Missouri out of the SEC.

If Missouri goes to the Big 1G, then Arkansas should go to the Sun Belt.

I believe the SEC only has 4 members: Florida, Missouri, TAMU & Vandy. Georgia is also a very good school, surprised they fell short. Don't think anyone else would be close.
UGA prefers to minimize their association with figs.

I'd honestly rather have GA get in and leave ND out.

Bet yet Leave Oklahoma out and bring in Georgia.

Why would you put ND in the west and Illinois in the east?
