That parking garage in CoMo is a horrendous example of planning.

Fayetteville has several small parking garages, and new developments with buildings wrapped around parking garages.

That monstrosity in Columbia is one of the most significant edifices in the whole city, which demonstrates that it was planned and built by fricktards.

Missouri just hates Arkansas for good reason.

Arkansas takes their coaches at will (Frank Broyles and Mike Anderson)
The Walton's (Walmart) favor Arkansas
Missouri has a much larger population but worse history and makes way less money in football than Arkansas.
Missouri even has a smaller football stadium.

I understand why they want to justify themselves against Arkansas it just looks bad on the national stage when you bring out the facts.

People come to Columbia to stay, so yes, we need parking structures. They dont rush off to Rogers for entertainment. I understand your confusion though.

i can't believe we are on page 14 and you are still chiming in despite never setting foot in Fayetteville.

Why don't you instead give us some advice on how to avoid getting mugged while walking home?

So, if one methlab in a trunk explodes, does this set off a chain reaction that could result in said parking structure collapsing?

Sounds dangerous.

That's not downtown?

Also, that was built in 2005. Stripes said anything not from 2013 doesn't count

It looks like a fricking jail with the narrow windows and tan paint.

I'm sure there's some Mizzou posters making horrible points, too. But when you're arguing over city planning re: parking structures, you have lost the plot.

The University of Arkansas is a much bigger deal to the state of Arkansas than Mizzou is to the state of Missouri. Sucks, but that's the way it is. Mizzou is two hours away from our two biggest cities and we have a ton of professional sports teams to support in those cities. I, personally, love Mizzou and support it above all of my other interests, but that simply isn't the case for the majority of Missourians. Arkansans take more pride in their state university because it's all they have sports-wise. Maybe if we have some success in the SEC, support/passion will increase.
