Actually Dali challenged the imagination of his age by deconstructing classical....wait, what was the question?

With those pics, I might even consider Arky; as bad as it looks!

Genuinely asking, what kind of criteria are you using here? I've been to the Guggenheim, Houston MFA, every major museum in MO and Chicago, as well as the majority of the other big NYC museums (my local options), and a few in D.C. Boston MFA is by far and away the best when it comes to American art. Their collection of pre 20th century pieces is second to none. Haven't been to Crystal Bridges, but I highly doubt it can hold a candle to Boston MFA. As a former architecture student/enthusiast, I can surely appreciate the structural appeal of the museum. But it doesn't mean squat when it comes to judging the quality of the collections inside, and very little when judging the museum as a whole.

When Missouri next plays here, you should visit and include time on your schedule to see Crystal Bridges. Then maybe you can judge based on knowledge of the thing to be judged instead of knowledge of other things and supposition of the thing you are judging.

In all seriousness, every time I've been to NW Arkansas it's been enjoyable.

It would be a great place to retire to.

Agree. Although I've never actually visited Fayetteville, I traveled through NW Arky this past summer on my way to Nola for vacation. It's a beautiful part of the country. Mountains are awesome.

I highly recommend a trip to Ponca AR to float the Buffalo.

IMHO Jacks Fork is the prettiest float stream in MO (17 bridge to Alley Spring) and the Buffalo is right there with it (Ponca to Pruitt).

Make sure to check out "Hemmed in Hollow" if you go.
