[quote]Ya it's all on what you are used to ... I lived in the coastal carolinas for a good while and I love me some of their BBQ. Where as a friend from KC who comes in and works with us a few times a year makes up some each time.. It's good. But still prefer the Carolina take on it...[quote]

Was that pic taken from the parking monstrosity?
Sorry Columbia doesn't have vacant lots downtown to pave over for parking like Fayetteville.

Did Fort Smith get a makeover?
Yes, it is now Fort Fresh.
Still the sister city to Cisterna, Italy.

Yeah, I know all the cutting edge cities are laying down asphalt in vacant lots to enhance their downtowns.

I called Frank Broyles and Mike Anderson tonight.
Both said Fayetteville, AR is the better place to live when compared to COMO.

They don't lie as you have your tickets scanned when you enter and its all electronically tabulated.
Last time I went to a game in Fayettechill, I had a student ticket and had to snag a student ID from an Arky student. They scanned my ID (well it wasn't actually mine) and asked me personal questions. I guess I got them right because they didn't kick me out. Pretty intense. Mizzou ticket people/policies are nothing like that.

Ok fine, we put up 76,000 against Penn State in 1980. Does that count also?
Again, 15,000 Bama Fans in the stadium shouldnt count.

I've heard it is impossible to pass off student tickets now, but you'll have to ask one of our younger posters to confirm.

Gonna make a trip to one of these two games next year to cross it off the list. For those that have been to both (probably very few) which would you recommend?
DO YOU SEE WHAT YOU DID?
(Yes, I know it was all caps)

So you were at the game?
Bama sold their allotment, which is the same allotment every other SEC team receives as well.

Does anyone else in this thread find it funny that the only reason the University and state of Arkansas are worth a darn/relevant is because of the contributions of a Mizzou grad?

Funny that all these Arkys know all about Columbia, but nobody has bothered going to Fayetteville. Tells you something. Must be part of the "Get the hell out of town" technique that they pitch.

Great point, add the Waltons to the list with Frank and Mike who left COMO at their first opportunity for NWA.
