He's talking about most NCAA appearances without a final four. Lots of teams have never been to the final four.

which is the definition of good but not exceptional IMO. make the tournament pretty regularly but don't do much with the opportunity

I personally like Mizzou, especially in BBall. However, UK was way down this year, as was VU, UT, MS State, and Bama. This was your year to shine. Oh well, I guess we just all have to pull for the Gators. Sorry Ole Miss, I like everyone else on your team this year.

Mizzou made the tournament only because they started the season ranked so high. Had they started where they finished, I'd bet they'd have been in the NIT.

False. Mizzou made the tourney because they had one of the highest OVERALL records in the conference, while having one of the few SOS that weren't complete garbage. When your pigs start getting the same record while actually playing decent out of conference teams, maybe you'll get in too.

My giving you guys grief was based on your crappy attendance making the SEC look bad for one of the few teams that did make it in. NC A&T had a bigger crowd than you did and they were a 16 seed having to drive farther than you guys did.

There's exactly two players on this year's team that Haith was "handed." There's no doubt that his seat got warmer last night. But he put together an NCAA tournament team almost ex nihilo.
Your coach hasn't ever made the tourney. So maybe he sucks worse.
