I thought Mullen loved Starkville and was never going to leave?

He turned down Miami and Florida to stay!

Are you going to tell me that Brantley was the right fit at QB to run Corch's offensive system?

no and everyone knows that but what does that have to do with Mullen other than if he recruited him.

You are saying that Mullen leaving had everything to do with their offensive struggles last year.

I am saying it had more to do with Tebow leaving, Brantley staying...

btw: Had Cam not gone clepto, we would not be having a discussion about Florida offensive struggles of the past year...

Fwiw, Cam was a once-in-a-lifetime player. He could've made any coach look good v

I'm honestly not trying to be a dickhead here, but Dan Mullen isn't the problem.

No, he's not a great coach. He is, however, the same coach he was last year when you all loved him. Don't be so fickle.

so you're going to tell me the only reason Florida had a great offense is down to one guy?

If by "one guy" you mean Tebow, Harvin, Hernandez, and the OL they lost, then yes........one guy.

All of those were game changers.

couldn't agree more. The problem is:

too many new faces on D especially at LB

a QB who can't throw

an injured o.line.

this is exactly what I'm arguing for. It's not just Tebow leaving it was a bunch of stuff.

The problem is:

... retaining Manny Diaz was impossible.

... recruiting against LSU, Alabama, and Auburn year in and year out is damn near impossible.

... the SECW is frickING HARD and someone has to lose. That's going to be MSU for a while. One day that might change. But probably not.

... some, very vocal, MSU fans have completely unrealistic expectations. I actually blame this on Mullen. He has a sense of arrogance and talks just enough shite to make people think they're going to make some noise.

Our playcalling on O has become Croom-esque.
