Come on, DSJ. You're better than this. Disappointed in the effort.

This is important news that the world needs to know. It was worth 5 minutes of my time to put together this news brief.

This. Imagine making a troll thread about championships when you haven’t even made it to Atlanta.

I thought the claim was 1940 when we went 10-0-1

1941 we went 8-1-1 but did win the SEC

Here’s some history:

Ole miss sent almost their entire male student body to fight at Gettysburg. They were part of Pickett’s charge and made it further than any other unit but every soldier was either killed or wounded for 100% casualty rate.

The remaining male students at Ole Miss at the time, the cowards and the cripples, make up the ancestral base for all the Ole Miss fans you see today.

Let me add to that: The Farley Hall is nicknamed the "Dead House" because this is where the soldiers were brought back to. They were not revered enough to be buried at Gettysburg. It became a makeshift morgue. There's even a plaque outside the building commemorating this event.

I don't know much about counterterrorism, but I have seen a battle analysis paper done on the 70th Combat Engineer's maneuver strategy in the battle of Oxford, which is younger than your last football Natty.

Do you know your history? Do you know that the USA was gearing up for war in 1941 because the government new that it was probably coming?

Camp Shelby in South Mississippi was cranked up and running by mid 1941, as were other training bases.

A few years ago, anc made a thread about the 1940 Mississippi State Orange Bowl team. I think the thread coincided with State's 2014 Orange Bowl berth. The thread had a picture of several Dawg players hanging out on the beach before the game. anc went on to state, with extreme confidence, that every man in the picture was killed in WWII . People immediately started calling him out.

I found the thread, actually. To give anc credit, he claimed all but one of the men pictured died in combat. People immediately started calling him out.

I only know the name because y'all speak so fondly of him. I believe he was CoonAssBulldog on this site, according to my sauces.
