How far along is your QB2? What's the feeling on the starter?

They are MSU both will be disappointing afterthoughts

If by some miracle one isn’t, this will be his final year in Starkville

The latter statement is unfortunately true these days.

That ship already sailed with Kamario.

That starting QB is legit. If he improved on his passing at all he is going to be a problem for teams. He had some runs against us last year that were incredible.

State needs Taylor to be a superstar to win 7+. It's a tall ask for someone who is obviously a great runner but needs a lot of improvement in the passing game. It sounds like State's OL is going to be near the bottom of the league again as well but maybe they'll surprise.

Ah, it's easy for him to say that now. I'm sure he got some nice offers to leave State, but with a small sample size nobody was throwing up crazy offers. Let him look like he did against Ole Miss but with better passing, he's not going to be turning down a few hundred thousand to stay at State, it could be millions.

I can assure you we can and will match any offer if he's as good as expectations.

I'd like to give you the benefit of the doubt, but I don't think you really know much about Kamario or heard him speak about his childhood loyalty to the program and dream of turning the program around. You comment is more hopium than reality if he's as good as people think he can be.

Kamario has the potential to be very very good.

I actually hope that is the case. I want more of these kids who realize their agent who is taking 30% is only concerned about their own money than helping advise these kids to consider the situation they're in, where they would be most comfortable etc... I'm just saying if he's as good as a lot of people think he will be, the loyalty will be tested a lot more next year when those numbers go up and I'm not sure he'll give State a huge discount. Miss State would be crazy not to match or get close to the best offers, just like Ole Miss would have been crazy not to match or exceed what others offered Trinidad.

Trinidad didn't grow up a die hard Reb. Completely different situation.

10, you seem way too reasonable to be involved in this conversation.
