It never fails. It amazes me the amount of stupidity at ESPN.

Does espn run the video board in Omaha? I would think it would be the stadium people who ran it.

It’s got to be some inside joke at this point. This happens like 2 times a year

It looks like a video of some sort. I'm sure they have their hands in it somewhere. I'd like to think the stadium people aren't as stupid.

There are only 8 teams in Omaha. How hard is this to get right?

Its rediculous. I've seen Mississippi dogs and heard Oxford Bulldogs b4 too describing OM.

Doesn't seen to happen to Oregon/O state or the Oklahoma teams, others

ESPN ran a graphic most of this year that said Mississippi State Delta Devils.

Women’s basketball in the final four got called the delta devils. That’s Mississippi valleys mascot.

College football has its own internal team at ESPN. Every other college sport has “shared resources” full of people that have never left the Tri State area.

Alabama Tigers or Auburn Crimson Tide would be a revolt by both fan bases.

It was booed loudly.

That being said, these type of production mistakes in any other industry results in a termination or discipline.

It has to be a running joke at this point since all of the progressives think mississippi is a 3rd world country

I could maybe understand this 30 years ago or so, but in the present with the SEC tv contracts both teams are on national TV(especially football) all the time. They should both be easily recognizable by color and mascot. This has to be an
Inside joke at this point.
