Someone on BOL said the line moved to Auburn as a 6 point favorite. For real?

Well Danny Sheridan opened at MSU -6. It's still hovering @5-6. So Danny must know something, but probably won't tell.

you, TTsTowels, Joshua Chamberlain has got to be the girliest Auburn fans out there.

Not to mention the avi you made trolling your own team proves you know absolutely nothing about football.

Would love to hear your explanation on how cover 2 works and it's relation to stopping screens.

I listened to Sheridan the day he was on the PF show sit back and say over and over again "Auburn will win 9 games. They'll be favored in every game they play up until @ South Carolina."

Then he came out with "MSU doesn't have the talent to win the West this year with Auburn, Bama, blah blah blah"

Nice to see him come around. Dumbass.

You don't find anything that you witnessed yesterday concerning?

Because our defense looked like dogshit and I admit it? Ok man

It's more of a joke. But his gameplan was pretty sad

And idc what you think of me. You're one of the shittiest posters on this site. Calling some of us embarrassments is one of the most ironically hilarious things I've ever seen. Nobody here cares what you think and would rather you just leave, so do everyone a favor and go post on AE

FIFY.

They watched the game. They saw your team get pushed around at the point of attack on BOTH sides of the ball. They saw a team that went 4-8 last year roll up yards on your D while no adjustments were made (or if they were they didn't work). They saw your team need spectacular play from your special teams (KO return for TD & onside kick recovered) in order for your team to come from behind to beat that 4-8 team.

What game did you watch?

(FTR - I do agree with you on your cover 2 comment. It actually isn't nearly as bad against screens as a cover 3 would have been though)

of course i did. But it's one thing to find things concerning and another going on message boards crying about it and scream doomsday.

Even when we had a badass team last year, you were one of the main ones with all the other haters predicting AU would lose almost every week.

Then you make threads about how garbage the secondary is and how much you wish it was like Bama's. Grow a pair dude

At the beginning of last season I predicted us to lose to Arky and Bama. That was realistic.

This is the play they converted the 3rd and 20 on. Obviously, they didn't run a screen, but they ran screens out of this exact formation, and we lined up exactly the same as this except Holland was more towards the middle of the defense behind the DTs. There is no way we can possibly stop a WR screen in this alignment unless the blockers completely whiff. We never adjusted and it killed us. No excuses

My point is that you seemed to be confused about what exactly cover 2 means. Cover 1,2,3, and 4 only refers to how many safeties you have in coverage.

My point is if AU was in the right cover 2 coverage, like cover 2 man under, they'd be able to defend those bubble screams.

AU likes to stay in that cover 2 playing zone underneath (like in the pic) yea i agree we need to improve on D.

Still think it's a little girly to give your own team no shot at beating freaking moo state.

Hold tight, boss. That team evolved into a "badass team". They certainly were not "badass" against MSU, USCe, Clemson, or Kentucky last year. Those games - all four of them early - gave reason for any realistic person to expect LSU, Arky, and/or Bama to beat you.

I wouldn't get after AMM & TTsTowel too much for that. They had reason to feel how they felt then, and they have reason to feel how they feel now.

There is a reason Ted Roof has been fired in the past...and likely will be in the future.

The last BCS team that barely beat Utah State and allowed them to rack up 450+ yards went on to win 12 games last year.

Not saying AU is going to do this, but excuse me if I'm not ready to jump off a bridge like some of AU fans here are.

I agree. I'm mostly referring to the cover two zone we play. When we go man we're alot better, but Roof refuses to let us do that for more than 1 or 2 plays a series. Chizik said to expect more man to man, so we may see some improvement. But until then I'm not too confident.
