Not according to the downvotes

It's usually the same downvotes. I'm assuming a majority are State fans and the occasional ppl that dislike me around here.

Anyways, I don't care about upvotes or downvotes. I don't feel the need to get into that petty shite. I see it is important to you though. I'm here to talk sports and if people want to up/down vote, that's their right, but like I said, no skin off my back.

Anybody would All-SEC 3*s like Bryce Brown and Anfernee McClemore in a heartbeat before an underachieving "5*" like Nick Weatherspoon

Ok this is just dumb.
As a JUNIOR Bryce Brown averaged 16pts, 2reb and 1.7 ast.
As a SOPHOMORE Mclemore averaged 7.4/5.3/0.5

As a FRESHMAN Nick averaged 11/3/2.
Anyone that would take Brown or Mclemore over NW is a certified retard or an obvious Auburn homer. I added the second option to respectfully give you the benefit of the doubt.

Yes y'all won the game and deservedly so, but those underachievers kicked Auburns ever loving arse for 35 minutes this year

how many Auburn fans do you see on here bragging about kicking LSU's arse for the first half in football last year? None. You know why? It's a pathetic point.

And for 35 minutes, huh? Care to explain the logistics of how AU outscored MSU by 19 in the second half when we were getting our "ever loving arse kicked" until the final 5 minutes?

Same team will be a 3-4 seed in the tourney this year, at least. Feel free to bookmark it.

That's an incredibly stupid thing to say this far out, especially when your team was in the NIT last year. South Carolina fans also made a lot of guarantees about about going back to the NCAAT, but at least they were coming off a Final Four.

On a related note Ole Miss is still our bitch and will be for the foreseeable future.

You have an odd definition of "bitch" considering they beat y'all last year and 3 of the last 4

The best shooter in the SEC, the best defensive player in the SEC, or an average PG... Hmmmmmmmm....

Would've been in the NCAAT if Lamar Peters would have been a starter all year and had his head in the right place. Might have been in the tourney had Howland kept the full court press on Missouri in overtime and Q played better defense against LaChance at Vandy.

I agree that Howland is really underachieving with this talent.

I'm not a Howland hater, he just messed up there. I expect us to be in the NCAA tourney this year.

Gonna reply to both posts in one. You may have outscored us by 19 in the 2nd half but I'm betting it was more like 20 in the last 5 mins, which sucks for us but also makes my statement correct as well as your 19 pt stat. And I wasn't bragging about it, it was just a statement about the only game involving the 3 players you mentioned.

It's not dumb to say we will be a 3-4 seed next year. That's precisely where bracketology and cbssports.com has us projected to be.

And average pg? First of all he was a pg forced to play SG bc of Peters being the PG. And most of the experts reguarded Nick as the best on ball defender in the SEC. and again, One is a FRESHMAN, not sophomore and junior like the players you mention but ignore the age factor.

As a freshman NW is averaging the same numbers as Brown has averaged in his 3 years. Only his Jr campaign trumps NW's freshman season. And after 2 years AM still isn't the player NW is.

Again I'm going to give you credit for being an auburn homer and not declare you full blown retard. Obviously stats and facts are something you've yet to grasp. Thankfully for most that isn't a prerequisite of getting on the internet.

We have a chancellor named VITTER. Get it -- VITTER.

That's right. Chief Idiot. Brother of a whore-loving US Congressman.

VITTER - we won't eve let him speak this Tuesday at the largest gathering of Ole Miss fans this spring and summer.

Oh, and he leaving soon. Looking for a new house already.

NW was a starter. Brown came off the bench his first two years. A 5* is expected to be ready the moment he steps on campus while a 3* is expected to have to be developed. Talk about ignoring important factors.

You mean the great Bryce Brown couldn't crack the starting lineup of an 11-20 team as a freshman?

All while Nick Weatherspon started for a 25-12 as a freshman. And he did step on the court from day 1 ready to do what was needed of him. For a team as loaded at guard he would have been a detriment to the team if he tried to do more than what was needed of him. Oh and Brown may have come off the bench but he only averaged 4 less minutes a game than NW as a freshman so his coming off the bench argument is negated.

He is making like 600k a year and has other prospects. I'm sure he isn't greatly upset that his Ole Miss experience did not work out and is likely coming 5o an end.

At the end of the day, he wasnt a bad guy, just a bad fit at an awkward time.

I'm not an apologist, just a realist.

Further, I grew up liking only State and LSU outside of UA. Since taking an Admin role at UM, my exposure to all things MSU have made me hate them. Their arrogance is unmatched for such an unaccomplished Ath Dept... I say that knowing full well the hubris and faux old money/blue blood sense of entitlement that Ole Miss fans exude.
