Congrats Bundy. State also has as many winning seasons in SEC play the last 11 years as I have balls.

Baseball rankings mean dick.
Their rpi is not that high and they may not even host. They will be 2 and BBQ in Hoover and not make it out of a regional.

We took LSU to Extra innings and lost by one run in both of our losses at LSU. Lost two at Auburn, won our series with Ole Miss, Again swept Number 4 Kentucky.
At best we are even.
If Stanek is your number 1, I'm not too impressed. He has similar stats to our number 2 starter.

5 wins in 13 against Vandy, Florida, a sweep of Bama, and MSU.
Vandy and MSU are by far the hottest teams in the SEC currently. Florida is Florida. Way to try and disprove how good Kentucky is. You might wanna do some research before you start throwing numbers around.

What a close minded individual you are. No you aren't discussing it because I just refuted your whole argument. Only someone who loses an argument starts trying to find stuff wrong with grammar and what not and attacks using that. What a loser.

We already took 2/3 from you Bundy, at your place. The only good win of the year for State was at home against a realing UK team.
State just lost a mid week game to a mid level team with a losing record at home. State is saved right now by a weak OOC schedule.

So winning series against Vandy and Ole Miss don't count as good wins?
As for the midweek loss, Florida lost a midweek game at home to a weak team as did Ole Miss and others. Heck South Carolina lost a midweek game to a D2 school does that make them a bad team???

State is a middle of the pack team, that caught UK at just the right time. State lost series to LSU, Ark, Auburn, Florida, SCar. All SEC teams with a top 16 RPI. State has NO marquee RPI series wins this year.
The fact that your coach deems it not necessary to pitch your ace on the opening day in Hoover, is either stupid or arrogance unearned.

Or maybe he means to whip your arse and save Stratton for when we play LSU Thursday. Smart coaching to me, considering your ace pitcher is just as good as our number 2 or 3 pitcher.

State has great pitching, youth and they are extremely scrappy. Hope my apathetic Rebs don't face them again.

We may be mediocre, but we're an overperforming mediocre. Arky was supposed to a national title contender this season, yet finished with the same conference record as we did. Your the definition of mediocrity and underperformance.
The past 2 years, State has been picked 6th and 5th in the West. We've tied for 2nd twice. We'll be picked alot higher next year so make of that what you will.

We had a good series against UK and our pitchers are doing well. We lost to Central Arkansas last week. There is no telling what we will do over here. Cautiously optimistic but anything but cocky about the way we are playing.
