We can do better than scheduling Jackson State and a team that has been playing football for 2 or 3 years and still get wins. It's just a ridiculous schedule.

We are not a top level SEC football program. We have to things others dont. Our past in football has been like Auburn basketball- irrelevant. We are trying to change that and get a bowl string going.
As far as talent vs Tenn and A&M, we had 3-4 drafted last season- and a 1st rounder- we'll have the same again this draft. The talent gap is not big if any at all

Exactly. You don't have to play an Oklahoma or USCw every year, just teams that people can actually name what conference they're in.

Anyone who can't see why we schedule like this is just ignorant. We are at an important time for MSU football. A step back this year would really hurt. Not going to a bowl game this year would be terrible. We have to get a couple more top 25 classes and a couple more bowl games under our belt before we start swingin our dicks with the scheduling. We have too much momentum right now to add another difficult team to the schedule. I can see how someone like diamondawg would want to not see three shite games in a season though. The Troy game away is the equilavent of playing a real school. They are always tough and we'll be at their place and our players are gonna have a hard time getting up for it. That game scares the shite outta me. That being said, we will start 7-0 this year. Don't look at me. It's science. Sorry for grinding.
Alabama/LSU fans etc getting on here telling us how our schedule is stupid. Like we're supposed to handle our schedule the same way as them. We are not the same program and our scheduling shouldn't be the same.
