Yeah. Sure seems that way, especially given the early start time.

Same. Very disappointed Miss St didn't cover against LSU.

Still hate LSU in 11 am games.

Ten is a lot of points, however: State hasn’t been bad but they also have been shaky at points in both their games. LSU has a big talent advantage and if BK let’s Perkins rush the passer I don’t think State will hang.

TLDR I wouldn’t touch this game. We don’t know enough about either of these teams to be honest.

. This is solely based on us putting 72 points up against Grambling in a game most people couldn’t watch because it was only on SECN+.

This has little to do with it, it has more to do with MSU getting beaten pretty soundly in most measures against a pretty mediocre Arizona team. We stack up well against MSU in my opinion. Now, if we cant run the ball or stop the rush, we may not fare as well, I predict we do ok.

Meh. I'm not worried about this one. I expect the DL the get more pressure on the QB and Perkins to be put in better position to cause problems for MSU. The offense will score plenty as long as we can run the ball better than against FSU. I'm thinking something like LSU 31 MSU 20.

I agree with you, OP. But lines like this are why more high-rises go up in Vegas every year. Have fun.

Rogers won’t have one moment to throw and the MSU defense, despite their effort, is going to get tired quick. Arnett can’t deviate one inch from whatever wrong plan he comes up with prior to the game, so if things aren’t working, expect us to keep doing that exact thing.

All I know is that Vegas didn’t build all of those fancy hotels by giving away free money.

Mississippi State will get out to a fast start and go up 7-0 early. They will stop LSU and extend their lead to 10-0 at the end of the 1st quarter

After trading punts in the second quarter, State makes a mistake and turns the ball over to LSU late in the half. LSU takes advantage and cuts the lead to 10-7 at halftime.

State has a promising drive to open the 3rd quarter but fails to convert a 4th and 2 at the LSU 30. LSU hits a big play and goes up 14-10. State answers with a three and out and LSU tacks on another TD to go up 21-10.

State returns the ensuing kickoff to midfield and the 4th quarter starts. They end up settling for a long field goal after a couple of penalties stall a promising drive. 21-13 LSU.

State gets the stop they need, but can't move the ball. LSU grinds out an 8:00 drive and kicks a FG to go up 24-13, which is the final score.

State fans are pissed.
LSU fans are pissed.

This is your ballgame folks... but there will be an additional big play TD as well. 31-13. Damn voodoo curses and all

We made Arizona look like the 85 Bears in the second half, LSU will be fine.

LSU's defense has big problems. MSU will probably look like a very good offense against LSU. If your QB can actually throw the ball (literally.. just throw the ball), you'll score some points.

Corrupt sec officials will decide the day.

If the public is heavily on the side of LSU expect the flags to fly to keep MSU in the game decided by under 10.

If the public is heavily bet on MSU and the points expect the officials to let them play and LSU will win in a blowout over 10.

I wouldn’t touch this game. I could see LSU winning by 30 or State pulling off the upset, and don’t have a great feel either way.

I think I lean toward LSU winning by 7-10 points just because I think State’s OL will have a hard time with LSU’s front and I don’t love how State has fared against mobile QB’s, including Daniels last year. But this has been a competitive series in recent years (2019 aside). People forget that State led until the 4th quarter in BR last year.

State’s gameplan against Arizona was one of the weirdest things I have seen in modern college football. They’re gonna have to approach this game differently to have any chance.

He will check it down with the best of them. State's offense runs through Woody Marks though who is a very talented back. Not only is he a top RB in the SEC but he's probably State's 2nd best WR.

I was at the game and I totally disagree. There was at least 2 open and sometimes 3…

I tuned in early in the 4th Quarter and Will Rodgers had like 14 pass attempts.

Im gonna guess thats a no.
