South Carolina is a toss up but I give it to State coming off a crappy OOC game and its in Starkville..
Majority of State fans would take that season right now. We know we will have to play well against AUB, GA, & S.C. to get the W's. Definitely are not gimmies. Hell UAB is not a gimmie.

i keep telling my buddy State is due for an LSU win but with the circumstances this year, I don't see it being the year.

An inch away 2 years ago.
I understand the reasoning, with it being after the AUB game. Though we do get them at 11:30 which helps, slightly. Also, it's fairly early in the year & hopefully our guys will still be fresh & should be ready for our home opener.

State wasn't very good last year, lost some of their best players, so they won't be very good again, and they won't benefit from playing 9 cupcakes like last year.
Hell think about it, why the hell would the hunchback want to leave? Beat some really shitty teams, lose to good ones, recruit shitty players, but say you "own the state". No other school besides maybe vandy would take it, but State fans eat that shite up
