I thought the same thing last year about LSU after they came through the losers bracket, but we all know how that ended. We all love seeing stories like this and Coastal but State has a long way to go, but I have to hand it to State, however this season ends with them, it's been quite the run based on how they started the season. Henderson deserves a ton of credit for keeping the team together after the shite sandwich he was handed with Cannizzaro's untimely and unexpected firing

I know i've discussed this ad nauseam and think Henderson has earned the job already IMO, but if he goes on to win the national title, I don't see any possible situation he doesn't get the job unless he retires.

they've already surpassed, IMO, anything their football team accomplished in 2014. Their football team fizzled out in the regular season, were blasted in the Orange Bowl, and finished the season ranked 11/12. The State baseball team has already guaranteed themselves a finish in the top 6 of college baseball by avoiding the 2 and Q in Omaha.
